The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, March 23 to April 3, reveal that some big storylines are about to head in new directions, so let’s discuss all the action.

During the week of March 23-27, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will face off while Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazidei) pushes Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) toward a reunion.

Mariah and Tessa can’t fix their fractured marriage overnight, but they may take a step in the right direction after they talk things over.

That could lead to Mariah listening to Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) and taking a plea deal that’ll mean going to a psychiatric facility instead of prison.

Over with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), it looks like she’ll come clean to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) being part of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) kidnapping deception.

Lily and the twins aren’t in real danger, so Nikki may admit that.

However, Y&R spoilers say Victor will have a secret strategy in store that could lead to shocking news.

It turns out Victor’s going to throw another curveball at Cane, but he won’t let Nikki get in the way of his next one.

While Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) take a walk down memory lane, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make a protective promise to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters)

Kyle may remain irritated over Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) cheating on Diane with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and may struggle to buy his “the ecstasy made me do it” defense.

Regardless, Kyle will be on Team Diane and will want to do whatever he can to shield her heart from more pain.

Of course, Jack will hope to prove he can be trusted again , but that may take a lot of time and energy.

Nikki will eventually make a risky move for Jack’s sake, so it’ll be interesting to see what she does and how it might enrage Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

After Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) threatens Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with a gun, there’ll be more excitement in Vegas.

Adam will ultimately see Nick from another perspective, so he may discover Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) drug problem.

Back with Billy, he’ll have a hard time going along with Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pressure to make amends with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), but maybe he’ll cave in during the week of March 30-April 4.

Sally thinks Billy should head to London and hopefully get on better terms with Jill, so will he finally catch a flight?

As for Patty, her return to Genoa City will surely make some waves as she crosses paths with some old enemies.

Mariah will also land in a psychiatric facility if everything goes according to plan with her plea deal.

Tessa may end up supporting Mariah as she gets the treatment she needs.

Back with Adam and Nick, they should eventually get the Matt location they’re after.

Nevertheless, Matt’s a crafty character and could set a trap for the Newman brothers if they’re not careful.

That’s especially true since Riza appears to be romantically involved with Matt.

At some point, Lily will make it back to Genoa City for a reunion with Cane, but will he be angry over her team-up with Victor or just relieved that she’s safe along with the twins?
