The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will face some challenges when it comes to undoing the damage caused on that yacht.

Jack is living a nightmare thanks to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) kidnapping plot and the drugging fiasco that resulted in him surrendering to Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) in bed.

Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) was hurt and angry enough to leave the Abbott mansion following all the drama.

Y&R fans watched as Diane marched out the door with her packed bags, so Jack’s marriage is in a terrible state.

Jack will obviously hope to fix things with Diane if possible, but how’s he going to achieve that?

Let’s talk about four ways Jack might win Diane back and discuss the steps to overcoming this Patty cheating crisis.

1) Patty’s reunion attempts fail

For starters, Jack will need to stand strong against whatever other seductive moves Patty might throw at him.

Diane needs to understand that was a one-time error caused by the drugs in Jack’s system and that Patty isn’t the woman he wants.

If Patty’s reunion attempts fail once she hits Genoa City, Jack may start to earn some trust back in his marriage.

Perhaps Jack can prove to Diane that he wants nothing to do with Patty and start pulling his wife closer again.

2) Jack’s grand gesture

Of course, Jack can be awfully romantic when he wants to be.

We have no doubt that Jack will pull out the stops at some point and try to deliver a grand gesture that’ll blow Diane away.

Even if it doesn’t totally fix what’s broken, it couldn’t hurt!

Jack at least needs to show he’s making an effort since it could be a crucial part of his journey toward a Diane reunion.

3) Kyle’s matchmaker help

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) clearly has some issues with Jack due to his betrayal with Patty, but he may soften toward his father soon.

ack might ultimately get Kyle to play matchmaker and try to push Diane toward forgiveness.

Kyle loves his parents and knows they were happy together until this Patty chaos erupted.

Perhaps Kyle will agree to pitch in on a Jack and Diane reunion mission, so that could help Jack make some headway.

4) Jack puts life on the line for Diane

Despite Patty’s rehabilitation claims, she’s dangerous at her core and will inevitably cause more mayhem.

If that leads to a situation where Jack puts his life on the line for Diane, that could help move his reunion plans along.
