Y&R Adam Too Much Of A Yes Man

Adam has become nothing but Victor’s minion and fans are not happy. Should Adam stop doing everything he is told?

Adam Newman Is Victor Newman’s Favorite Child
Adam and Victor may have had issues when Adam came to town, but in recent years, Adam has become Victor’s favorite child.
Victor doesn’t require so many enforcers when he has Adam around but he uses him to get his dirty deeds done dirty cheap. Adam actually saves Victor a boatload of money by being his yes man all of the time.
Adam has unfortunately lost himself in his desire to do whatever daddy wants and is not longer the charismatic guy that he once was.
Ada is willing to go along without whatever outrageous plan Victor comes up with as long as it keeps him in daddy’s good graces. When is Adam going to realize that this is hurting his family.
Jack Abbott’s Recent Abduction
Adam does not agree with his father’s vendetta against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). However, Adam hasn’t done anything to stop Victor or to turn Jack loose either.
Adam acts as though he is afraid to cross his father because he doesn’t want to lose the closeness they have built. Adam likes being his daddy’s go to guy.
However, Jack could be the breaking point because Jack was there for Adam when Victor wasn’t.
Will Adam finally realize that he has a spine and start standing up to Victor about his more damaging plans? Should Adam arrange for Jack to be found or even help him escape to get him out of Victor’s hands?
Adam Newman Needs A Back Bone
Adam and Jack used to be good friends and Jack was upset when Adam went on the attack about Jabot when Jack was forced to shut the company down to keep it safe.
Jack would have never turned on Adam the way Adam did him. Jack even called Adam out on his actions bringing up how he had helped Adam when Victor was too difficult to deal with.
Will Adam finally stand up to Victor and put a stop to the way he is treating Jack? after all, Victor claims that Jack almost killed Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
In reality, Victor is simply jealous that Jack is one who got Nikki to stop drinking when he could not get through to her at all. Will Adam finally walk away and do what is right?
