‘Sister Wives’: Kody’s Huge Money Score outside of Show Fed Family for Years
Sister Wives star Kody Brown doesn’t seem to work long, hard days of manual labor. He’s also not someone who appears to sit in an office all day, but he does have a job. Better yet, even before the show came along, it sounds as if he knew how to make a buck and feed the family.
Sister Wives: Surprise Reveal about Kody Brown
While the TLC series seems to be the main job for Kody Brown today, his son Paedon Brown recently set Sister Wives fans straight.
Kody does have another job outside of the one where he manages the family and the finances. He does more than make sure everything is set for the camera crew.
Paedon confirmed his dad, Kody Brown, is gainfully employed outside of the TLC show. But he fell short of saying what kind of job it is.
Although, at one time Kody said that he works with “precious metals.” A few other hints he threw out during an interview led fans to believe he sold guns. But that’s not confirmed or denied by anyone in the family, including Kody Brown.

<p>Veteran fans of the <em>Sister Wives</em> know that Kody sold outdoor advertising at one time. He sold billboard space. He also hinted that he sold online advertising. People are interested in how he makes money, so these questions are tossed out periodically by fans.</p>
<h2>Kody Popped the Question to Robyn Brown at His Workplace</h2>
<p>Kody Brown implied that he sold online advertising online when <em>Sister Wives</em> first started. The patriarch becomes vague when asked about his employment or lack of. But Paedon isn’t shy to share what he knows about Papa Brown’s work history.</p>
<p>We know that Kody proposed to Robyn Brown at work. Well, he wasn’t in an office or inside a building when he did so.</p>
<p>No, but he took her for a ride to an unpopulated area from what he said. There, under a billboard, he asked Robyn to be his number four bride.</p>
<p>That billboard was Kody Brown’s responsibility for the job he had at the time. He sold advertising space on billboards and that one he stopped at to gaze into Robyn’s eyes – was one of his.</p>
<p>It was a tough sell for him, the billboard that is. That’s because it wasn’t an area that saw much traffic. It seems you could have the best advertising slogan in the world.</p>
<p>But if you put that slogan up in a desolate area, it won’t do much good. So, in a roundabout way, Kody asked for her hand at marriage while at work and to become one of the <em>Sister Wives.</em></p>
<h2>Papa Brown Put Food on the Table</h2>
<p>Paedon Brown said his dad once worked selling signs. This could be another job or he could have meant the billboard signs.</p>
<p>But what he did share was that dear old dad made a huge sale during this gig. It was so big that it put food on the table for all those kids and <em>Sister Wives</em> for years.</p>
