The Young and the Restless Tuesday, February 24 Recap: Judge Frees Matt, Nate Kisses Victoria, Phyllis Cries Sabotage
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also share a passionate moment while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hurls sabotage accusations.
At Society, Nate will speak with Devon Winters (Bryton James) over the phone.
Devon will be on edge since they still haven’t heard from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry).
Victoria will join Nate for a drink soon after and admit she wants to be the one to put Newman Enterprises back in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) hands.
Since prodigal son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has become Victor’s confidant, Victoria will want to reclaim her position as her father’s right-hand woman.
Nate will suggest a contingency plan in case Victoria doesn’t get what she wants and will urge her to see that she’ll be fine regardless.
After Nate admits he cares about Victoria and her future, he’ll pull her into a kiss outside.
At Crimson Lights, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will convince Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) to distract her from the whole Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) situation with some guitar playing,
However, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will come barging in and insist she’ll never forgive Daniel for turning Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) against her.
There’ll be some talk about how Summer wouldn’t even open the door to Phyllis in Milan.
Daniel will argue that Phyllis only has herself to blame, but she’ll accuse Daniel and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) of filling Summer’s heads with their narrative.
Daniel will deny sabotaging anything, but Phyllis will act like Summer would be celebrating her win if it weren’t for Daniel and Nick’s meddling.
When Daniel brings up Lily and her kids getting kidnapped because of Phyllis’ actions, she’ll refuse to take responsibility for that and insist Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) family is fine.
After Daniel declares that he’s done with Phyllis, she’ll wonder if he’s really shutting her out of his life forever and will point out that forever is a long time.
In the end, Daniel will stomp off with Tessa while Phyllis has a tense encounter with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
At the GCAC on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will taunt Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over his forced retirement before joining Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) at the bar.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will sit with Victor at a nearby table and grill him about his mysterious trip.
Victor will hint about giving Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) some incentives and assure Nikki that Lily’s been apprised of the latest developments.
After Victor works to convince Nikki that they’re going to get the Newman empire back, they’ll share a toast.
Diane will worry as she watches with Jack, but he’ll think Victor’s just putting on a show and that things are still dire.
While Jack’s on a phone call, Diane will follow Nikki into the ladies’ room and make it clear that it’s a good idea to stay away from her husband.
Nikki will argue that’s not going to happen because she has a special bond with Jack, but Diane will be sick of her playing damsel in distress.
Of course, Nikki won’t think she’s doing that and will accuse Diane of being threatened by her relationship with Jack.
After Victor gets an unsettling call, his demeanor will change as he heads for the door with Nikki.
Jack will assume Victor got bad news about the company, so he’ll gloat to Diane about the façade already crumbling.
At the Newman ranch, Nick will be there waiting for Victor and Nikki when they return home.
It’ll be revealed that the judge over Matt’s case threw it out due to the detective involved being compromised.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will confirm that Matt’s free, so this will kick off Nick’s mission to bring him down by any means necessary!
