The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lauren’s Unexpected Offer – Billy Needs Help at Chancellor?
Lauren is a savvy businesswoman who’s built Fenmore’s luxury brand to what it is today, so she might be the perfect person who could help Billy hit the ground running.
Sure, Lauren is busy with her own work, but it wasn’t too long ago that she pulled double duty to help Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) when she was in rehab for her alcohol abuse problem, so perhaps the same idea will be at play here.
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of February 23-27 hint that Lauren will be presented with an unexpected offer, so will her nephew approach her, with his hat in hand, looking for help?
The CBS soap recently reminded fans of their family link when Lauren updated Billy on his mom, Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton), health condition.
Jill is Lauren’s half-sister, and the two ladies didn’t realize they had the same father until well later in life.
While Billy may not have grown up knowing Lauren was his aunt, she’s been around as a family friend since he was born, and the two have always been on good terms.
Billy respects Lauren, and he knows he can trust her.
Plus, she’s incredible at what she does and she might be the perfect person to lend him a hand as he gets re-adjusted in the CEO position at Chancellor.
Billy may promise that he only needs his aunt’s help for the interim, and they could strike up a deal where Lauren potentially assists with Chancellor on a part-time basis, or something along those lines.
Will Lauren agree to give Billy a hand? This would land her in a messy situation.
After all, her husband, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), works for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Nikki, the former CEO of Chancellor, is one of Lauren’s closest friends.
With that said, Billy is family. Plus, Lauren knows how devious Victor has been in the past.
She may be like others in town who believe Victor losing Newman Enterprises is justified, considering how ruthless he’s been at times where the Abbotts and Jabot are concerned.
It was mere weeks ago that Victor stole Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) AI software, via Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and disassembled Arabesque, and was then gunning for Jabot, before the tables turned on him.
While Nikki might feel betrayed if Lauren agrees to help Billy – Lauren may remind her she doesn’t want to take sides between family and friends, and that she’s merely been presented with an offer to help Billy get in the groove at Chancellor, temporarily.
The Young and the Restless spoilers imply that Lauren getting involved with Chancellor, even for a short while, could stir the pot between Michael’s relationship with Victor and her own friendship with Nikki.
