General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie & Nathan’s Cemetery Reunion Ends in Disaster
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) cemetery reunion could end in disaster – so let’s talk about the horrible outcome that could unravel.
During the Thursday, February 19, episode, Maxie enjoyed a wonderful welcome-home party.
All her friends and family gathered at her house to celebrate the end of her six-month coma nightmare. In fact, everyone was there, pretty much, except for Nathan.
While he had planned to attend the event, he needed to be at the PCPD as Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was being hauled in for questioning.
Nathan was the officer on the case and was required to follow through on the latest chain of evidence.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) insisted on talking with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) when he arrived on the scene, so Dante Falconceri (Dominic Zamprogna) told Nathan he was officially off duty and could head to Maxie’s party.
Still, Nathan decided to go to his gravesite instead. Meanwhile, Maxie, feeling overwhelmed, left her party a little early to head for a walk.
In a strange twist, she didn’t exactly tell Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) where she was going.
Of course, the close of the February 19 episode saw Nathan and Maxie run into each other at the cemetery, as their eyes locked.
With that said, while some fans may expect the two to connect instantly, after all, they were madly in love before he passed away, could something horrible end up happening?
It’s hard to ignore the elephant in the room: Nathan doesn’t seem like Nathan.
It’s also difficult to shake the known fact that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) purposely poisoned the cream Maxie tried on that fateful day during the Home and Heart segment for Deception, which landed her in a coma.
Could Nathan take the opportunity to hurt or kidnap Maxie, while he has the chance?
If fake Nathan is working for Sidwell, undercover, he may strike while the iron is hot.
General Hospital viewers have been waiting on the edge of their seats for a big reveal where “Nathan” is concerned, so reuniting with Maxie and then doing something to hurt her could be the shocking moment where he’s finally exposed.
Fake Nathan could be Peter August (Wes Rasmey), Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), or someone else, but he’s certainly not Nathan.
The detective has been acting sketchy to say the least, but the biggest red flag is his pursuit of Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).
If Nathan can’t remember the last seven years, wouldn’t he still be madly in love with Maxie?
Plus, Nathan didn’t at all seem happy when the news broke that Maxie was awake; he looked almost a little upset.
Is fake Nathan afraid that Maxie is the only person who would be able to tell he’s not really Nathan?
Regardless, as no one knows where Maxie went, and she’s still technically recovering from her coma, it would be very easy for fake Nathan to kidnap or hurt her so she couldn’t blab to everyone else about her suspicions.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Maxie could sense something is off with “Nathan” when they start talking, so will he grab the bull by the horns and do something terrible to keep her quiet?
