‘Sister Wives’: Has Meri Brown Left Flagstaff for Good?
Sister Wives first spouse Meri Brown is running her B&B in Parowan, Utah and that keeps her busy – far from Kody Brown and his other spouses – but has she left Flagstaff for good? Given the ups and downs (mostly downs) of their marriage last season, it begs the question – is Meri gone? She answered this recently to fans wanting to know if her marriage is over.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown Loses Mother & Business Partner
You may recall that Meri Brown asked Kody and the family to invest in Lizzie’s Heritage Inn but he refused. This was a family home from her lineage that she wanted to run as a bed and breakfast. Despite his refusal, Meri found a way to raise the money herself.
Then, Meri and her mother, Bonnie Ahlstrom, ran it together as business partners. However, the Sister Wives star lost her mom abruptly in March 2021. Then, Meri Brown shuttered their successful inn for two months while she grieved her mom’s passing.

<p>But in late May 2021, Meri decided to reopen the B&B with support from friends and loved ones. Although when Meri thanked those helping her, she pointedly didn’t mention Kody or any of her co-spouses. Since then, most all of her photos reflect what looks like a continued stay in Utah.</p>
<p>It seems Meri Brown is hunkered down there running her business, five hours North of Flagstaff, Arizona – where Kody and the family moved after they left Las Vegas. But is she gone for good? Was losing her mother a breaking point for Meri Brown?</p>
<h2><strong>No Spark & No Intimacy – What’s Left in her Marriage?</strong></h2>
<p>In the last season of <em>Sister Wives</em> on TLC, viewers saw Kody and Meri Brown celebrate their 30th anniversary. Although “celebrate” might be a strong word for how it went. She was excited about their outing but it didn’t work out very well.</p>
<p>Kody Brown said he lacked any “real interest” in her but she insists she still wants a real marriage with him. Meri said in her confessional that she’ll ask him to spend time with her and he turns her down. And he made it clear they’ve not been physical in years.</p>
<p>He said he’s not in love with her and that’s the only way for them to get back to having a sexual relationship. When Meri said she wants to be loved by him – Kody told her to be more “lovable”. It seemed like she was begging for affection but it went unfulfilled on <em>Sister Wives</em>.</p>

And of course, he brought up her catfishing scandal but said that things had fallen apart between him and Meri before she got into an online romance with that person. So, will Meri Brown stick around on the off-chance Kody might feel love for her again?
Sister Wives Fans Want Meri to Walk Away – Did She?
Any time there’s a hint that Meri Brown might have stepped away from Kody, fans are ready to cheer her departure. After watching the painfully awkward therapy scenes and her pleading with him for a real marriage, followers are even more keen to see her break free.
However, the answer to the question – has Meri Brown left Flagstaff and the Sister Wives for good is no. She addressed that recently saying that she is commuting back and forth from Arizona to Utah to run her business. She relies on help from her sisters and daughter, Mariah Brown.

Meri said the five hour drive isn’t bad and she can “do it in her sleep”. Plus, she revealed she listens to audio books to make the drive go faster. So, while a scan of her recent photos makes it look like she’s only at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, Meri Brown is back and forth.
She also directly addressed the question of whether she’d moved. Meri said “no, I do not live at the inn” so that should quash some doubters. However, things could change, although Meri Brown didn’t seem ready to give up on her Sister Wives marriage just yet.
