ATTENTION CORONATION STREET FANS: THE UNBELIEVABLE OPPORTUNITY TO FINALLY BRING YOUR FURRY FRIENDS TO THE LEGENDARY COBBLES HAS ARRIVED!

Coronation Street has been running set tours since 2014, allowing fans to walk along the cobbles and visit some of the ITV soap’s most famous locations on the weekends when filming isn’t taking place. And now, in response to multiple requests from fans, the Coronation Street Experience has announced there will soon be a special one-off (at the moment) day where people can bring their dogs along to the tour.

On Sunday, 12 April (the day after National Pet Day) the doors will be open for Walkies in Weatherfield, where viewers and their cute doggos to visit the cobbles, have photos outside the Rovers, and enjoy a puppuccino or two.

There will also be limited edition ‘Weatherfield Woof’ merchandise to buy at the Experience shop, included branded dog bowls, bandanas, and other treats.

Tickets are on sale now, with proceeds going to the charity Dogs Trust.

You can bring puppies too, as long as they are 12 weeks old and are fully vaccinated (or completed their primary vaccinations if they are under 16 weeks old), not showing signs of illness, fleas, ticks, or worms.

Dogs in season are also not allowed, while any breed of dog listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act won’t be permitted. Your dog will also need an ID tag to be allowed in.

Meanwhile in soap world, Betsy Swain actor Sydney Martin has been announced for a brand new project; a short film that also stars Hollyoaks‘ Isabelle Smith.
