The Bold and the Beautiful Eric Cries Over Ridge’s Apology
Some medical drama also went down, so let’s talk about how Thursday’s B&B action played out.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge said this was ridiculous since Eric wouldn’t work for “this clown” Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and that he wouldn’t work for a startup.
Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) asked if Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) knew about this and quickly realized that her sister had gone behind their back with Eric.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) gloated about all Eric’s new designs being for Logan.
Bill didn’t see why Ridge should care since he kicked Eric to the curb.
Eric eventually ranted about Ridge giving him a retirement party he didn’t want, so Ridge was livid over this betrayal.
Katie pointed out that Eric came to her with an offer, but Ridge felt she should’ve refused due to his health.
Eric spoke for himself and declared that he could make his own decisions. Although Eric acknowledged that he was old, he insisted he wasn’t invisible.
Ridge understood that Eric felt disrespected because of the retirement party, but he pointed out that he already apologized for that.
Eric got increasingly worked up and struggled to breathe, so Bill called 911 as everyone grew concerned about his medical scare.
At Spencer Publications, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) continued to reel over Eric being Katie’s lead designer and learned from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that Eric wanted to teach Ridge a lesson.
Hope worried this news would cause an even bigger rift between the families since Ridge would feel betrayed by Eric and Brooke was going to be furious with Katie.
This could destroy what was left of Brooke’s relationship with her sister and Ridge’s relationship with his father.
Ridge was all about the Forresters sticking together according to Hope, but Liam pointed out that Ridge didn’t do that with Eric.
Liam said they couldn’t tell Eric how to feel, but Hope didn’t think they could ignore Eric’s health challenges and wondered whether this was in his best interest.
Back at the Forrester mansion, paramedics showed up for Eric and checked him out.
Eric refused to go to the hospital and objected when one of the paramedics wanted to give him a shot for his elevated blood pressure.
Bill insisted they were just trying to help Eric, who finally admitted he knew that.
Eric insisted he wanted to be in charge of his own life and pushed Ridge to listen.
Ridge took Eric’s hand and asked his dad to breathe with him, which was something Eric did with Ridge when he was a kid.
Ridge said Eric was always his rock and that he still was now.
After Ridge assured Eric that he’d listened to every story, he added that he remembered every detail.
Ridge was so sorry if he’d made Eric feel this way, so a tear ran down Eric’s cheek before he wiped it.
As Thursday’s B&B episode wrapped up, Ridge kissed Eric’s hand while sad looks were exchanged around the room.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric’s health will remain the priority, so stay tuned.
