General Hospital Thursday, February 19 Recap: Nathan & Maxie’s Cemetery Reunion – Chase Busted Over Michael’s Keys
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, February 19, reveals that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) finally saw each other after so many years apart. Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) key blunder also came back to bite him, even if he didn’t realize it yet!
At Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) place on Thursday’s GH episode, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was there to oversee Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos’ (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) drop-off.
Alexis also wanted to speak with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about preparing Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) for a visit with her dad.
Alexis wound up talking to Drew alone while Willow was dealing with a phone call.
That gave Drew a chance to blink rapidly, so Alexis assumed she was agitating him and wondered if she should get Willow.
Drew blinked no, but Alexis couldn’t understand what he was trying to convey and thought it was best if she left.
At the police station, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) delayed Nathan from attending Maxie’s homecoming party since he needed Nathan to question Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) about his key to Drew’s house.
Dante really thought they were just doing their due diligence with this whole key thing, so Michael actually having a key threw him for a loop.
ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) praised Nathan for having the idea to check Michael’s keys, but Nathan gave Officer Chase the credit.
According to ADA Turner, whatever Michael said in this interrogation could determine whether he got charged in Drew’s case.
Once Michael was summoned to the police station for urgent questioning, he had Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) handle Wiley and Amelia’s drop-off without him.
Ric also found out about the cops getting a search warrant for Michael’s keys, but Michael insisted he’d never been in possession of one to Drew’s house.
Wiley learned Ric would be taking him to Willow’s place and privately asked Ric if his dad was in trouble.
Ric claimed the police just wanted to give Michael his keys back, so Wiley asked if they were the keys Uncle Chase took.
At the PCPD, Michael refused to answer questions without a lawyer present. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was busy, but Ric called Michael and agreed to come once the drop-off was complete since this was a trap.
Although Ric didn’t go into the details of what he’d learned, he suggested the cops would be the ones in trouble if they played this right.
Back with ADA Turner, she thought maybe Michael’s arrogance tripped him up now that this key had been found.
Ric took Wiley and Amelia over to Willow’s place, where she hugged them in an emotional moment outside.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) also brought cupcakes that Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) baked so they could all celebrate Willow’s family reunion.
Ameila and Wiley were thrilled over the chance to finally open Willow’s Christmas presents, too.
At one point, Willow found out that Michael couldn’t make it with Ric tonight because he was at the police station.
Wiley mentioned this was about Michael’s keys, so Willow flashed back to planting Drew’s key on Michael’s keychain.
Alexis pulled Willow aside and admitted that Drew seemed like he was trying to communicate with her.
Willow later returned to Drew’s room to scold him and gave him another drug dose to keep him incapacitated.
In the PCPD interrogation room, Ric joined Michael as he faced questions about the key to Drew’s house that was found on his keychain.
Michael was confused since he’d never had a key to Drew’s place, but ADA Turner acted like he’d been caught in another lie once she took over questioning for Nathan.
Dante was also there with Justine as Ric got all smug about the other people who had access to Michael’s keys at the Quartermaine mansion.
Ric insisted that an eyewitness saw someone handling Michael’s keys who had no business handling them – and it was none other than Officer Harrison Chase!
At Maxie’s house, she got a warm welcome home. James West (Gary James Fuller), Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher), Bailey Lou Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski), Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) all helped celebrate.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) also came over with Chase and shared an emotional embrace with Maxie.
Once Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) finally showed up, Maxie teased her bestie over her late arrival and gave her a big hug.
Maxie ultimately enjoyed an off-screen slide show that caught her up on everything she’d missed.
As for Brook Lynn, she secretly quizzed Lulu about how far things had gone with Nathan.
Lulu confessed that they’d kissed once, but Brook Lynn thought telling Maxie about that or the feelings they’d developed would only hurt Maxie.
Since Brook Lynn felt all this should be kept under wraps, Lulu was surprised to learn BLQ wasn’t going to blab.
James was disappointed over the news that Nathan was stuck at work and couldn’t make it to the party.
Spinelli eventually shared a moment alone with Maxie and made it clear that he wasn’t rushing her on any decisions she needed to make.
Maxie was feeling a bit overwhelmed despite how wonderful it was to see everyone, so she decided to take a walk.
Nathan was in the cemetery looking at his own grave marker when Maxie appeared and had a shocking reunion with him!
Since Chase and Brook Lynn wouldn’t be babysitting Bailey Lou as much anymore, Brook Lynn sensed that he was bummed about that.
Chase didn’t want to pressure Brook Lynn on the adoption, but she surprised him by admitting she was ready.
That led to Brook Lynn and Chase meeting with Alexis to discuss moving forward with the adoption process.
General Hospital spoilers say Chase and Brook Lynn’s family plans may fall apart once she finds out about the key drama, so stay tuned.
