Smiling Isabel Hodgins glowing as she and partner head out with new baby
New mum glow? Isabel Hodgins has it in spades.
The Emmerdale star has been spotted out for the first time since welcoming her baby girl, and she looked every bit the picture of happiness as she enjoyed a relaxed stroll in the Manchester sunshine with husband Adam Whitehead.
Wrapped up in a cosy North Face coat, Isabel kept things casual for the daytime outing, letting husband Adam take charge of the pram as they headed out with their newborn. The actress was all smiles, appearing calm and content as the couple embraced those early newborn days.
The sighting comes just days after Isabel announced the arrival of her first child. Taking to Instagram last week, she shared a sweet reel documenting the moment her daughter entered the world.
The video begins with Isabel in a hospital room, gently bouncing on a birthing ball, before cutting to the magical reveal: baby Georgie Grace was born on February 11 at 1.02am. She later posted a beautiful black-and-white polaroid snap of herself cradling her tiny newborn, a simple moment that melted fans instantly.
Her Emmerdale family were quick to flood the comments with love. Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, wrote: ‘Congratulations, what amazing news. Love to you all. Love and hugs.’ And she wasn’t the only one, the soap cast rallied around their long-time co-star as she stepped into her newest role yet: mum.
While Isabel looked serene in her posts, her husband, Adam gave fans a slightly more dramatic behind-the-scenes insight into Georgie’s arrival.
Sharing more adorable snaps of baby Georgie Grace, he proudly wrote: ‘My greatest achievement. Watching my @isabelhodgins bring our GG into the world will stay with me forever. I have never been prouder.
‘And yes… I fainted. Twice. Thankfully she’s the strong one.’
We love the honesty.

Thankfully, despite Adam’s double fainting episode, both mum and baby are doing beautifully, and their first public outing proves they’re already settling into family life.
Isabel has continued to share an insight into her life as a new mum, as she posted more cute snaps on her social media this week, noting Georgie is now a week old.
The pics are completely wholesome and adorable, and feature Isabel and Adam out walking with Georgie in the pram, plus some of the trio at home.
Honestly, we can’t cope.

The timing of Georgie’s arrival is especially poignant, as Isabel has just bowed out of Emmerdale after nearly two decades in the Dales. Best known for playing Victoria Sugden since 2006, she quite literally grew up on screen.
Victoria’s recent storyline was anything but quiet. At the start of 2026, Vic killed her brother John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) in shocking scenes. When Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) managed to get hold of video evidence showing her covering up his death, he used it as blackmail, demanding the Sugden farmland in exchange for his silence.
Alongside Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), Victoria tried to find a way out. But in true soap fashion, the Tates came out on top. Accepting defeat, Vic decided she couldn’t stay in a village filled with painful memories. In emotional scenes that aired last week, she said goodbye and headed to Portugal with son Harry and Diane Sugden, though she made it clear she’d one day return.
It marked the end of an era for Isabel, whose final scenes were packed with heartbreak and tension.
But while Victoria may have left the village under a cloud, Isabel herself is stepping into a joyful new chapter.
