General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) marriage proposal may stun Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and deliver her next post-coma shocker. Will Spinelli throw Maxie for a loop by popping the question?

Shortly after Maxie slipped into her comatose state, Spinelli talked about how he planned to ask her to marry him.

Spinelli even begged Maxie to open her eyes so he could move forward with proposing, but she obviously didn’t do that at the time.

Now Maxie’s awake, but things are complicated due to this situation with Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) return.

However, Nathan looks downright miserable over the news of Maxie’s awakening and may not even be the real Nathan despite the evidence that “proves” he is.

Regardless, Spinelli doesn’t look ready to give up on Maxie just yet.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) tried to convince Spinelli that his services were no longer needed, but she also pointed out that true love always finds its way.

That seemed to light a bit of a fire in Spinelli in GH’s February 16 episode.

Spinelli insisted he couldn’t agree more and clinked glasses with Obrecht, so it appears he’s going to fight for Maxie and show her that they’re meant to be.

What better way to do that than by getting down on one knee with an engagement ring?

Spinelli may decide to propose and prove to Maxie that he’s serious about building a future with her.

Since Spinelli’s emotions are all over the place, he might even make the mistake of turning this into a grand gesture at Maxie’s welcome home party.

That seems like a bad idea and a quick way to get rejected considering Maxie’s already so overwhelmed.

Maxie had to grapple with the fact that she’d been in a coma for six months and just got updates on Nathan being alive, so she’s got a lot on her plate.

Spinelli really doesn’t need to be proposing and adding to the complications, but he may do it anyway.

Even if it happens after the party in a private moment, it may be too much for Maxie at this point in the story.

Of course, Spinelli might acknowledge that he doesn’t expect an answer right now, but he could at least let Maxie know the offer is on the table.

Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers suggest Spinelli isn’t prepared to throw in the towel when it comes to locking in his own future with Maxie!
