The Young and the Restless Alumni Vivica A. Fox and Shemar Moore Set to Return to Genoa City

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest some major news as alumni Vivica A. Fox and Shemar Moore are set to return to the land of Genoa City very soon – and CDL has all the juicy details!

The duo is slated for a multi-episode run, starting in April. In fact, Moore and Fox began filming their Y&R scenes on Tuesday, February 17.

Reports confirm they’ll be reprising their Malcom Winters and Stephanie Simmons characters.

Now most fans know Malcolm Winters as Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) younger brother, whose original run on the CBS soap took place from 1994 to 2005.

With that said, Moore has made brief appearances in 2014, 2019, and more recently in 2023 for The Young and the Restless’ 50th anniversary.

Meanwhile, some Y&R viewers may not be familiar with Fox’s character, Dr. Stephanie Simmons, who was a colleague of Dr. Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams).

Fox had a shorter run on the soap, from 1994 to 1995, and in a fun twist, Stephanie and Malcolm were a thing until her career caused issues, and the two broke up. Stephanie eventually left town.

With both returning, will the two come back together or potentially reconnect and “reunite” in GC, where their relationship first began? Only time will tell.

The Y&R isn’t the only project Moore and Fox have worked on, as they also starred as a husband and wife in the 2004 movie, “Motives”.

Moore’s character cheats on Fox’s character, which unleashed some drama, including blackmail and then a murder investigation.

While Moore and Fox are busy with other acting gigs, it’s nice that they are taking some time out to visit their old stomping ground.

Moore is currently on a new S.W.A.T. spin-off, titled “S.W.A.T. Exiles, while Fox has a new movie coming out this May called Is God Is, produced by MGM/Amazon.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that this multi-show episode involving Malcolm Winters and Stephanie Simmons is sure to have fans on the edge of their seats, and might even include other members of the Winters family – so viewers will have to tune in to see what brings these two back “home”.
