However, her father passed away when she was 14. Juliana said that his cause of death was drunk driving. But, despite dealing with these hardships as a child, she never lost sight of her goal of one day having a modeling career.
Juliana Starts Working at Young Age
Juliana Custodio started working at a very young age. When the 90 Day Fiance castmate was eight, she got her first job. And, by the age of 12, she had three jobs. She has always been a very hard worker. But she wasn’t happy working those three jobs. She wanted to pursue her dreams instead.

At the age of 14, Juliana Custodio opened up her first factory. However, she sold it to move to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to get into the modeling industry. That is where her dream of having a modeling career started to come true. So, all her hard work as a child would soon pay off.
Now, Here Dream Comes True
Juliana soon found herself wearing the clothes instead of making them. In 2015, she moved to China to get modeling gigs. But moving to a different country wasn’t easy for her. At the time, she didn’t speak English. So, she felt it was a “horrible experience.” But she did get signed with the “best agency” based in Milan.
So, Juliana then left China and moved to Italy. The 90 Day Fiance star feels like that is when her life changed forever. She was no longer a seamstress and was now the one in the clothes. Since then, she has taken on gigs in many countries around the world. Her modeling career is also how she met her ex-husband, Michael Jessen.

Since Juliana Custodio’s start in the modeling industry, she has traveled to over 80 countries. But it seems like she isn’t done visiting other places. Her goal is to visit 100 countries. So, she is only 20 countries short of achieving that.
Going through all those hardships in life has taught Juliana a lot. She feels that everything she has in life is because she deserves it. She knows that no one can take that away from her.
