General Hospital Tuesday, February 3 Recap: Cullum Injects Britt, Anna’s Being Committed, Michael’s Decision
General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, February 3, reveals that Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) injected Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was about to be committed. Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) also faced a compromise decision, so here’s how Tuesday’s episode played out.
For starters, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) considered it a massive gift that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was questioning Michael since she was biased in her cousin’s favor.
Molly made it clear that there wouldn’t be a conflict of interest since she wouldn’t be involved if the case moved forward.
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was also there to monitor the questioning and listened as Michael walked them through the timeline of the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Afterward, Diane warned Michael that the only reason he hadn’t been charged yet was because the DA’s office wanted to make sure the case was airtight to avoid losing a second trial.
In Britt’s room, Cullum dismissed her complaints about her missing meds.
From now on, Britt would get one dose at a time when she worked in the lab at Wyndemere.
At the PCPD, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Anna being found and claiming Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was alive.
Jason didn’t believe that was possible, so Dante suggested Anna’s PTSD was causing her paranoia and that she’d need help to come back from it.
Although Jason was willing to go to France and speak with Anna, he had to take care of something first.
Once Dante spoke to Nathan about Anna’s Faison claims, Nathan insisted he had no additional information about his father.
After Jason went to Britt’s window, she let him inside.
Jason was there for a medication vial like they talked about so they could have it reverse engineered, but Britt explained Cullum’s new rules regarding her meds.
Jason wanted to rush over to Wyndemere and get the medication himself, but Britt stopped him and warned him to get out since someone could be watching her.
Although Britt thought this was over, Jason was adamant that he’d figure something out.
Jason eventually returned to Dante and told him that he couldn’t go to France after all since something came up that he had to handle.
Back with Cullum, he paid Britt another visit with a medication vial and decided he’d let her have one before she went to work.
Cullum suggested it was a gesture of goodwill, but Britt was uneasy as he insisted on administering the dose himself and jabbed her forcefully.
At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) pulled out the key that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) had confiscated from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) when she came to get the Quartermaine heirlooms.
Willow thought maybe she could somehow tie Michael to this and make it seem like he conspired with Tracy to sneak in, but Nina insisted there was no evidence of that.
After Willow brought up Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) helping her, she mentioned her dirt on Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) and was ready to go after Michael hard.
Nina thought the better strategy would be to prove Willow was the reasonable parent who wanted what was best for the children.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) met Fizz the rescue dog, who growled at her in disapproval.
Sonny enjoyed some banter with Justine, who was there to clarify that she wouldn’t be involved in Michael’s case if it moved forward.
That said, Justine wouldn’t hesitate to bring Sonny down if she found evidence he committed a crime.
Sonny thought there was a difference between that and someone with a vendetta who might fabricate proof or go after someone he loves.
Sonny hoped that Justine would eventually realize they had more in common than she thought, but she warned him not to hold his breath!
Later, Michael spoke to Sonny and worried that he could get arrested. Even if Michael got out on bail, it could affect the visitation hearing.
That’s why Michael was willing to compromise with Willow before he lost the upper hand.
Once Molly and Nathan met with Justine, she insisted they needed evidence before they could even think about charging Michael.
Justine pushed Nathan to find something solid that proved Michael was the shooter at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house that night,
Back with Willow, she picked up the key and contemplated it like she was scheming against Michael.
At GH, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) gave Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) updates on the whole Anna situation in France.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) heard the latest Anna news as well, so there were questions about whether Anna had genuinely suffered a mental break or if this was perhaps a ruse.
Regardless, Emma insisted on going to France since she was the one who first got the call about Anna being in trouble.
Mac had a conversation with the French authorities, who revealed that Anna was being transferred to a mental health facility that night since they weren’t equipped to deal with her.
Felicia was concerned about Anna being stuck in an asylum when it wasn’t necessary if this was indeed some sort of ruse.
Mac planned to speak with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and him to recommend a good private facility for Anna.
That said, Felicia, Mac and Emma obviously knew that they needed to head to France to be there for Anna ASAP.
General Hospital spoilers say some tough moments are ahead for Anna and those closest to her, so stay tuned!
