GH Spoilers: Peter August Returns! Anna’s Delusion Become Reality?
General Hospital spoilers report the fans were delighted to see Peter August (Wes Ramsey) light up the screen last week — even if it was all a menagerie in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) mind.
For now, we’re going to be glued to our screens wondering whether Anna will come face to face with more villains from her past.
She was adamant that she didn’t believe the voice over that loud speaker could have been Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), but that’s become impossible to believe now.
Her sense of reality is starting to diminish, and while Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was certainly never there, we don’t know if that was really Peter in the flesh.
Liesl Gets Implicated?
While it sounds like Cesar has big plans for escorting Anna off Spoon Island and into a life with him somewhere else, it also sounds like he’s not quite ready to take her on board. Details of his recovering health are limited, and so is our grasp of what’s fact versus fiction.
One thing is for certain: If Anna gets off that island and returns to Port Charles, she may remember thinking she was Liesl there, and that could stir trouble for the sassy former doctor who will insist until she’s blue in the face that she would never help Cesar ever again.
Will everyone believe her though if Anna insists otherwise?
GH Spoilers Nathan and Britt Do Too?
Before she was ever taken against her will, Anna had already processed the reality that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) were more or less back from the dead.
She didn’t have an explanation for where either had been or how they faked their deaths, but she was ready to trust Nathan on some level again anyway.
She might come to regret that now if she discovers either of them were complicit in their father’s machinations, and it seems like Nathan might be more likely to have been than his sister, but nothing is worse than their half-brother, Peter…AKA Heinrich.
Peter Joins His Family?
The last time we saw Peter, he was dead. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) bludgeoned him with a tire iron to rescue her daughter, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) from the psycho she had a baby with.
It took Anna time to get over the trauma that Peter brought into her life, especially since she spent time thinking he was her son.
Seeing him again, even if it’s only in her mind, brought those memories back to the surface like it was just yesterday. Now, we’re all pining for another glimpse, and some of us (ahem) are hoping he’s going to have a real role in the hell that Cesar has lined up for Anna.
Will this father-son duo outdo the former WSB agent this time? Keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
