‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Controls Kody – Pushes Co-wives Buttons?
Sister Wives star Robyn Brown sounds more like Kody Brown these days as a clip from the new season shows a change in wife number four. When Robyn addresses her co-wives, she sounds a bit flippant, which is not her usual disposition.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown No Longer in Role of Martyr?
Granted, it’s a quick glimpse that TLC passed along for the Sister Wives fans to see. They may have edited these clips to highlight the drama. So, you never know just what you are seeing until the show rolls out.
But it offers a hint here and a clue there. So, with that said, there seems to be a big difference in Robyn’s demeanor in the upcoming season.
Some fans say she sounds like she’s given up on blaming herself for all the family’s problems. That was something this fourth wife of the Sister Wives tribe often did.

Robyn Brown cried a lot on the Sister Wives episodes through the years. Tears rolled when she learned the pain she caused Christine Brown when first marrying Kody Brown.
She cried a river when she found out how her extended honeymoon with Kody upset the other wives. Robyn also blamed herself for much of the unhappiness the family experienced. But so did the fans.
Then the co-wives, along with Kody, would pipe up and tell her she was wrong and comfort her. In this recent clip, it’s as if she’s a new person who reprimands the adults in the Sister Wives flock. She refuses to take any blame for the problem they discuss in the promo video.
TLC: All Because of Kody Brown
The Sister Wives’ father of 18 took the COVID precautions to the max when it came to his family. When Kody Brown’s brood gets together in this new season, it looks as if Robyn passes out a list.
The other three wives look a bit perturbed. This list seems to address the precautions that the family is expected to follow. But from what the wives say, this entails very little time with Kody Brown, except for Robyn Brown.
So, those sullen faces seem to disagree with this list. It also sounds as if Robyn Brown decides to speak up before the finger starts pointing her way. She tells her fellow Sister Wives ladies that this is not something she concocted. No, it was all done by Kody.
Sister Wives: Family Split
Again, editing may be at play here, but it appears that Meri Brown, Christine Brown, and Janelle Brown are not happy. Christine suggests that her Sister Wives marriage is dysfunctional. But she adds, he has a perfectly functioning marriage over there.
Most fans take this to mean Kody’s marriage to Robyn. Janelle Brown, who rarely offers a complaint against their shared husband also expresses her discontent on Sister Wives.
Then, Christine said the best she could do for their day out, which was a get-together to discuss Coyote Pass houses, is to pretend.
Christine said she won’t live on Coyote Pass with the way her marriage is going. She wants to live in Utah, which her fellow wives, as well as Kody, refuse to consider. Real-time reports indicate Christine made good on those threats of leaving. She moved to Utah, leaving her Sister Wives family behind.
Fans of the Sister Wives series have often said the show made a mistake of bringing Robyn into the family during the first season. For Robyn’s sake, they probably should have rolled out the show with her already spiritually married to Kody Brown.
Robyn Brown is still seen as the Sister Wives homewrecker today by some fans, which is something Robyn said herself. She just can’t shake that title. So, maybe Robyn decided to live up to the hype and start acting like Kody Brown’s “head wife,” something that he denies having.
