General Hospital Thursday, January 15 Recap: Chase & Willow Cheating, Cullum Grills Brennan, Injured James
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, January 15, reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) faced Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) cheating questions while Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) grilled Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and injured James West (Gary James Fuller) got medical attention.
At Emma Scorpio-Drake’s (Braedyn Bruner) place, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) was surprised to find her wearing a bikini due to the thermostat being stuck at a scorching level.
Gio didn’t mind the heat if it meant being with Emma, who appreciated his support when she opened up about concerns regarding Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Things took another sizzling turn when Emma and Gio stripped down for passion in the bedroom.
At GH, James had a gash on his head following a skating incident on Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) watch, but Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) didn’t hold it against her since he knew James was adventurous.
Lulu gave Nathan some guidance on how to enforce boundaries while James got patched up.
Nathan gently took away horseback riding privileges for three weeks and pushed James to apologize for disobeying Lulu by going too fast.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy asked Chase if he was cheating on Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and voiced concerns about him trying to save damsel-in-distress Willow.
Chase insisted he’d never cheat on Brook Lynn, who joined the conversation and defended her husband.
That said, Brook Lynn shared some worries with Chase privately about him losing himself in his fight for Willow and getting taken advantage of.
Chase couldn’t stand by and watch the injustice, but he assured Brook Lynn that she was more important to him than anything else.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) came clean about overhearing Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) incriminating conversation with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
Since Martin tipped off Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and infuriated Tracy in the process, Laura took matters into her own hands to stop all the conflict.
Once Tracy showed up, Laura pushed her to go ahead with the charges against Martin for fraud.
Martin was appalled, but Laura insisted she’d had enough of all the threats.
Tracy was essentially called out on her bluff since she couldn’t go after Martin without hurting Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), which her family wouldn’t approve of.
Tracy agreed to a truce and shook hands with Martin, but she warned him not to cross her family again.
Laura also made it clear that if Martin provoked Tracy once more, she wouldn’t lift a finger to help him.
At the hatchet throwing range, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) were in the middle of a girls’ night out when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) brought Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) there on their date.
Carly stepped aside with Jason and tried to convince him that Britt was reverting to the old version of herself.
Jason argued that Carly didn’t listen to him about Brennan and pushed her to butt out.
Nevertheless, Carly acted like being with Britt was dangerous and could cost Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) his only remaining parent.
In the end, Jason at least convinced Carly to back off for tonight.
Nearby, Britt pushed Josslyn to “muzzle” Carly and reminded her that she could tell Joss’ mom that she was a WSB agent.
After Britt asked about “Mr. Nash” aka S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), Joss admitted that he’d been reassigned since Brennan always got what he wanted.
Once Josslyn reconvened with Carly, she suggested that since Jason had been right about Brennan, maybe her mom also wanted to be right about Britt.
Carly pointed out that she’d patched things up with Jack and played it like she trusted him now.
Josslyn made a comment about spies lying and left Carly asking how she knew so much about them.
Joss pretended she learned everything she knew when she dated Vaughn, who helped her see that agents like him lied because they cared.
Carly got emotional as she continued to keep secrets about her knowledge of Josslyn’s risky career.
As for Carly’s romance, she assured Josslyn that her eyes were wide open and she knew exactly who Brennan was.
Next, Jason and Britt competed against each other while throwing at targets. There was also a kissing bet, which Britt won and suggested she’d collect later.
In a moment alone, Jason hit the bullseye as a way to show GH fans that he’d let Britt win.
In Brennan’s suite, Director Cullum offered updates on Anna being on a mission related to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and seeming vanishing by her own choice.
Brennan was skeptical about Anna leaving Emma, but Cullum acted like Anna couldn’t be rational when it came to Faison drama.
There was some talk about the pic Anna sent to Emma at Christmas, so Cullum revealed it was fake.
Cullum shifted gears since Brennan hadn’t been completely honest with the higher-ups.
Now Cullum claimed he was there to correct that and find out more about Faison’s network.
Brennan confessed that he knew about Sidwell’s link to the project along with a secret partner who hadn’t yet been identified.
The conversation also included a mention of missing Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and the return of Faison’s previously deceased children.
Cullum wanted more than just theories and knew Brennan was holding back.
When Cullum asked about Jack’s assets on Spoon Island, Brennan refused to divulge anything that might put more agents in jeopardy.
General Hospital spoilers say Cullum’s sneaky tie to Sidwell will cause serious trouble eventually, so stay tuned for any terrible news ahead.
