General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will probably keep Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) guilt a secret where Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting is concerned.

The ABC soap just dropped its weekly preview, and there’s a ton to unpack.

Willow’s trial takes centerstage in the weekly video promo, a clip is shown of Willow, as Alexis exclaims, “She’s guilty, Willow shot Drew!”

As the promo wraps up, Alexis is seen in front of the jury, glancing back at Willow, who sits behind the table at her trial.

Willow is giving her a serious stare-down.

Alexis’s partner and friend, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), is then heard in the voiceover, cautioning, “You know exactly what you need to do.”

Sure, Alexis knows what she needs to do, but will she do it?

At the close of GH’s Friday, January 9 show, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) headed to Alexis’s place to tell her what they figured out.

They were at Drew’s house the night of his shooting, and that ringtone during the shooting seemed like a key piece of evidence pointing to the guilty party.

While they initially thought Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was Drew’s shooter, it was clear that Willow was the one who shot her husband in the back twice when they heard Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) call their mom after the court had adjourned for the day.

Kai and Trina deduced that the best person to present this evidence to was Alexis, but did they make the right choice?

Alexis is a stand-up person who tends to make bad decisions when she’s backed into a corner.

Right now, she’s been doing all she can to help get Willow off to gain access to her granddaughter, Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).

It’s difficult to predict exactly how the pieces will fall into place, but as Drew has allowed Alexis to see Scout since she agreed to represent Willow, it’s not hard to believe that she’ll take the information that Kai and Trina give her but not reveal it during the trial.

As most GH fans know, there’s a double-jeopardy legal rule that doesn’t allow someone to be tried for the same crime twice.

So, there’s a good chance that Willow gets exonerated for Drew’s shooting, and then the truth comes out.

Alexis may present the information to Drew about what Willow did. Could he fluff it off and still advise her to get his wife exonerated?

Then, there’s the option that Alexis tells Willow what she knows, and Drew’s wife takes a page out of her husband’s playbook and blackmails Alexis.

Willow knows that Alexis allowed Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to see Scout during a Davis girls’ holiday gathering, so she may use this against her lawyer to ensure she stays on track.

Whether she promises to get Danny jailed for breaking a restraining order or potentially vows to change Drew’s mind about Scout seeing Danny, Willow may have Alexis right where she wants her.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Willow going to prison would end this drama once and for all; however, Willow being the shooter and getting away with almost offing her husband means that drama will heat up in Port Charles.
