The Young and the Restless Tuesday, January 13 Recap: Sally Calls Out Lying Billy
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, January 13, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be ready to negotiate with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) calls out lying Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will give Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) updates on Victor getting distracted over a text when they tried to strike a deal for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Thanks to Billy’s news, Jack will suspect Victor is now dealing with Cane and Phyllis’ AI attack.
Although Jack and Diane will be pleased over Victor’s disadvantage, they’ll know they have to stay on guard – especially since Phyllis and Cane could go after Jabot, too.
Jack will also point out the war is never over when it comes to Victor, but he won’t be sure Cane and Phyllis know that!
At Billy’s place on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll raise a glass of whiskey to Victor’s downfall before Sally interrupts.
Sally will admit she overheard Billy’s phone call to Jack and knows he wishes he had been the one to take down Victor.
That’ll bother Sally since Billy previously lied to her face and said that wasn’t the case.
Billy will snap at Sally for trying to stage some sort of intervention, but she’ll think he has an “obsession problem” and will continue to complain.
However, Billy will eventually get Sally to calm down and suggest that he just had a momentary lapse in judgment.
At the Newman ranch, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will do damage control over the phone, but they’ll realize there’s no way to stop the AI program from wreaking havoc.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will voice concerns about their family empire crumbling, but Victor will offer reassurance.
Victor will also suspect the source of this AI attack was Phyllis, Cane or both.
With that in mind, Victor will suggest all that’s left to do is negotiate since he’ll believe everyone has a price.
After Victor looks on her phone and realizes an entire division of Newman Enterprises has already been wiped out, Victor will declare that this ends now and storm out the door.
On Cane’s train, Phyllis will fantasize about Victor giving her a giant gold key to the Newman kingdom and praising her for being a genius.
A little later, Phyllis and Cane will both get phone notifications from Victor, but they’ll decide to let him stew a bit.
Cane will also bring up Billy and acknowledge that he’s sympathetic toward him.
Phyllis won’t like the idea of Cane helping Billy, but she’ll relent as long as it doesn’t interfere with their plans.
Cane will ultimately call Billy and mention that there’s something he wants to talk about, so he’ll ask Billy to meet him in the morning.
Since Phyllis will be eager to gloat at the ranch, she’ll shower and get ready to go over there with Cane.
Before Cane and Phyllis can make the trip, Victor will arrive and ask Cane what it’s going to take to end this madness.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some tense moments are coming up, so stay tuned!
