The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, January 12, reveals that Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) couldn’t stop harassing Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) while Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) engagement wish was granted.

At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gave John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) updates on Taylor and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) developing feelings for each other.

Once Steffy spilled how she found out, Finn was taken aback over Taylor acting out of character.

Steffy voiced concerns about Sheila going after Taylor if she discovered this Deacon curveball, Finn offered reassurance.

Finn also confessed that he’d been planning a private celebration for Steffy, so they shared some romantic moments and looked forward to more ordinary days together.

At Il Giardino, Sheila cornered Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) to make another speech in hopes of getting them to accept her.

Afterward on Monday’s B&B episode, Hope got ready to tell Deke the news she’d heard from Steffy about Deacon’s interest in Taylor.

Deke admitted he already knew since Deacon didn’t do a very good job of hiding it earlier.

Hope brought up Steffy’s fears about Sheila going off the rails if she learned about Taylor and Deacon’s mutual crush.

At Taylor’s office, she acted like she was satisfied enough with her life, but Deacon obviously thought she deserved more.

Even if Deacon found a new therapist to open up to, he hinted that it wasn’t going to change his marriage issues or his spark with Taylor.

In the showroom at Forrester Creations, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) acknowledged that she’d been proposed to by significant others before.

Carter made it clear that his proposal was different and vowed to follow Daphne to Paris or even the moon! Wherever Daphne was, Carter wanted to be there, too.

Daphne finally saw how serious Carter was about wanting a future with her, so she accepted his offer of marriage with a kiss and put on his ring.

Later, Daphne and Carter headed back to his place for some bedroom passion as they celebrated their new engagement.

Carter had jasmine candles burning since Daphne wore that scent the first day they met.

Daphne looked head over heels as Carter assured her that he’d never felt this way about any other woman.

While Daphne and Carter hit the sheets, Sheila showed up unannounced in Taylor’s office again and pushed for her help getting through to Deke and Hope.

Sheila insisted Deacon was her world and refused to let anyone come between them, so Taylor looked unnerved.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila’s sinister tendencies could indeed cause some turmoil down the road!
