Sister Wives star Kody Brown gets a new daughter-in-law in July who’s already rattling his cage about the lack of respect he shows to some family members. Beatriz Queiroz is engaged to Gwendlyn Brown, and she had something to say about her pending father-in-law recently.

It seems Kody Brown soon gains a daughter-in-law who is a bit leery of his behavior. It appears that while Beatriz sees Kody as a fun guy, she also sees him as a man who lacks respect when talking to certain family members.

One of those is her fiancé’, Gwendlyn Brown. Beatriz said she ordinarily wouldn’t say anything. But it just so happens that she doesn’t like how the Sister Wives patriarch talks to someone she loves very much.

So, it sounds like her love for Gwen prompted her to say something. This conversation happened during a fan Q&A live video that Gwen and Beatriz did for Valentine’s Day.

Kody Getting a Daughter-in-Law Who Calls It Like She Sees It

So, Kody Brown once again is mentioned for his lack of respect when he talks to family members. His lack of respect also seemed to be a theme from the last season of Sister Wives.

Fans joined the various family members in taking aim at Kody Brown for some of the things he said. Viewers called him out about aiming disparaging words toward three of his four wives.

Plus, he also said some less-than-stellar blurbs about a few of his adult kids. Since Beatriz shares how she watches the Sister Wives show, we can assume she’s seen Kody’s behaviors on screen.

But as a future Sister Wives’ daughter-in-law, she’s most likely seen Kody in action when the cameras weren’t rolling. While she didn’t give any examples, she was pretty adamant about not liking the way Kody talked to someone she loved. But fans assumed she meant Gwendlyn Brown.

So, Beatriz sees Kody as a fun guy who needs to keep himself in check when addressing family members. That sounds about right from what she had to say. But then she shared a little more info that was interesting.

It seems she was a fan of the Sister Wives show for years before meeting Kody’s daughter. Gwen jumped in to say that they met at a fast-food restaurant.

Beatriz didn’t recognize Gwen from the Sister Wives series. This is understandable because the kids had very little airtime in the first several years of the show. But as adults, they show up on the screen more as they become married and start families.

Beatriz grew up in the Mormon church, just like Gwen. But it sounds like they belonged to two different sectors of the religion. She is from a small family with one mom only, a dad, and one sibling, a sister.

So, when she heard Gwen was from Utah and a Mormon she asked if she had ever seen the Sister Wives show. That’s when Kody Brown’s 21-year-old daughter piped up to say, that’s my family. Next, a fan asked if she knew she was dating someone from the TLC show, she had no idea at first.

There you have it, Gwen’s fiancé’ weighs in on her future father-in-law and his tendency to be disrespectful. But he’s still a “fun” guy, she adds.
