The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that some behind-the-scenes private jet footage has leaked, so Detective Burrow’s (Matt Cohen) new mystery has been revealed. Let’s talk about a big storyline that’s coming up and the key players involved.

Entertainment Tonight recently posted a video that was all about Matt Cohen, the former ET correspondent who now portrays Detective Burrow on Y&R.

Of course, General Hospital fans also remember Cohen from his days of playing Dr. Griffin Munro in Port Charles, but now Cohen has traded his scrubs for a police badge.

Cohen is doing a great job as Detective Burrow, who’ll be getting more airtime soon enough.

In the video, Cohen can be seen on a private jet set along with Bryton James (Devon Winters) and Melissa Ordway (Abby Winters).

The three of them will obviously be appearing in scenes together, so it’s safe to assume Detective Burrow will be part of the mystery story that’s coming up for Abby and Devon.

The latest preview info for 2026 points to a storyline involving Devon, Abby, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), so that’s important to remember.

Mariah just checked herself out of the clinic in Boston, so there’s a good reason for that.

The show needs Mariah free for what’s coming next, but it could lead to some confusion.

Since Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) is back in the picture, he may become the top suspect when Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (last played by Rainn and River Ware) disappears.

Devon and Abby may initially assume that Matt has targeted Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) grandson as part of some twisted plan.

That may get Detective Burrow involved, but he may stick with the case when it becomes obvious that Matt isn’t responsible after all.

Other insider hints indicate that Mariah will be seen at some point in a car with a slightly aged-up version of Dominic.

It sounds like Mariah will be the one to kidnap “Bowie” aka Dominic as she thinks back on her surrogate bond with him.

Mariah isn’t in her right mind, so no one can predict what’ll be going through her head as she makes some unhinged moves.

Whatever the case, Detective Burrow will join Devon and Abby on a private jet, so they may get a lead and travel to track Dominic down.
