General Hospital Friday, December 26 Recap: Willow Reunites Scout with Family – Charlotte’s Confession Stuns Rocco
General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, December 26, reveals that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) reunited Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) with her family while Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) confession stunned Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
At Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) place on Friday’s GH episode, a holiday gathering got underway.
Rocco, Charlotte and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) arrived along with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who was wearing a Santa hat and had a bag of gifts.
While Charlotte and Rocco were playing a game with Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) at the table, Charlotte shocked her brother with the news that she’d seen Valentin.
Over with Sonny, he reassured Laura that the Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) drama was worth it now that Rocco was doing well.
Sonny also shared a moment with Kevin, who was grateful to Sonny for coming to Laura’s rescue. Laura watched nearby as Sonny and Kevin shook hands.
At Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house, he worked on a damage control strategy over the phone now that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) had exposed his blackmail plot.
Willow shared a quiet moment with Scout, who wished Drew would let her see her family for the holidays.
Afterward, Willow pointed Scout’s sadness out to Drew, who didn’t want to back down on the threat he made to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
It was Drew’s decision, but Willow pushed him to let Scout see her family and consider this a Christmas present for his daughter as well as his wife.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) went on the hunt for a frog they’d accidentally unleashed inside the house.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) also gave Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) updates on his decision to go see Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and offer gratitude for her Christmas Eve favor.
Although Tracy was missing Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and a little annoyed over how Boxing Day was playing out, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gave her a pep talk.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, she was working way too hard on Willow’s case and was low on sleep.
Molly and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) convinced her to relax with them as they ate noodles and watched a romantic film on the sofa together.
Molly freaked out when Cody showed up at the door since she wasn’t exactly dressed for visitors. However, Molly let Cody in and shared a kiss with him after agreeing to celebrate New Year’s Eve together.
Willow eventually showed up with Scout, who ran over to join Alexis, Kristina and Molly for a warm family embrace.
It was Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) tradition to host a Boxing Day party, so Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) got all dressed up and joined Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) for it at Wyndemere.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) arrived and seemed disappointed to learn it wasn’t going to be a private celebration with Sidwell.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) was there and caught up with Lucas, who admitted he found Pascal (Marc Forget) creepy. Pascal kept glaring at Lucas and did nothing to change his mind!
Once Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) showed up, Sidwell told her about Drew and Willow coming to the party.
Sidwell wanted to have a strategy session soon and figure out how to get Drew reelected after the hit his reputation had taken.
Lucy seemed jealous as Ava and Sidwell bonded over art, but Ava warned Lucy that she wouldn’t stand in the way of her connection to her client.
Drew ultimately made it to the bash, but Willow wasn’t with him yet since she was busy dropping Scout off at Alexis’ place.
Back at the Quartermaine estate, Sonny joined the festivities following Michael’s invitation with Tracy’s approval.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) were also around for the Boxing Day fun.
Sonny and Ned spoke briefly about knowing when the time was right, so they were clearly talking about their violin gift for Gio.
Leo found that violin later and assumed it was a forgotten Christmas present, but Sonny and Ned explained they were waiting until Gio was ready to play music again.
Leo encouraged Gio to play along with Wiley, who thought Tracy would like it since she’d been sad about Monica.
Gio cautiously took the violin out of the case and seemed a bit reluctant to go through with this.
As Gio stepped away to collect himself, he struggled with memories of smashing his violin on stage.
Brook Lynn popped up to give Gio support, so that was the push he needed to play for all the party guests.
After Gio’s emotional tune, Tracy thanked him with a hug and said that was beautiful.
General Hospital spoilers say Gio will hopefully continue to get back into music, so stay tuned.
