‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown ‘Ambush’ at Coyote Pass
Sister Wives star Kody Brown drew attention on the new season opener as it looks like he planned an ambush at Coyote Pass. Meri Brown was suspicious of the sudden rearranging of building lots.
Sister Wives: Fans See Through Kody Brown?
Kody Brown explained why he divided up the property lots much differently than his original plan. But at least one of the Sister Wives was suspicious of Kody.
Janelle Brown wants greenhouses on her property, and Kody says she will have them. But did he use that request to his advantage? It seems at least one of Sister Wives thinks the same thing.

The pond on the property was one of the main topics of discussion on Sister Wives. Kody seemed fixated about it and said Janelle needs to be near it for her greenhouses. Meri Brown didn’t care who got the water feature. She said she won’t swim there and then followed that with “ewww.”
Kody reworked the division of the land among the Sister Wives. Previously, there were to be four lots, one for each wife. But now, he wants a house of his own. So, they need five lots, not four. He says it’s a place the family can all meet. Then, Kody shocked the Sister Wives and said he’ll take the land with the pond on it. He said that’s the only way to guarantee everyone had access to it.
TLC’s Robyn Brown & Janelle Brown Get the Big Lots
Kody Brown said two of the Sister Wives need bigger plots of land. He said Robyn can’t have her house in the woods. So, he couldn’t put her on a treed lot. Soap Dirt discussed Robyn Brown’s fear of the woods in a previous article. A childhood trauma left her frightened. But they bought a home in Flagstaff surrounded by woods despite her phobia.

Now, the Sister Wives viewers seem to think Kody Brown’s got a hidden agenda. Christine Brown has one foot out the door. Then there’s Meri, who is still getting questions from Janelle Brown about her plans to stay once they start building their homes on the communal land.
It seems Robyn and her co-wife Janelle don’t rock the boat and are the Sister Wives most likely to stay with Kody on the land. Is that why they got the biggest parcels? Christine and Meri’s allotted areas look sizably smaller than either Janelle or Robyn’s pieces. Are the smaller portions in case Meri or Christine fly the coop?
Sister Wives: Was Mike Coached by Kody?
Did a frustrated Kody Brown come ready to defend his new plan with a secret weapon — Mike, the surveyor? Meri Brown said that maybe Kody coached Mike a bit before they all got together on the property.

Some think Kody is protecting the land since Christine threatened to leave and sounded serious. Also, the other Sister Wives seem unsure about Meri’s plans. In real-time, one of the ladies made good on a threat to leave. Christine now lives in Utah and says she “divorced” Kody Brown.
Perhaps Kody was trying to safeguard things in case either of these women left and put their homes or land up for sale. Kody Brown’s plan might have been to preserve the biggest and best areas and the pond for the two wives most likely to stick with him…
