The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor the Grinch Learns His Lesson, 3 Wake-Up Calls On the Way
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers
Of course, Victor is never going to completely stop all his scheming and sneaky behavior.
There’s a certain amount of shadiness that’s to be expected when it comes to Victor, but he’s been going overboard lately.
Fortunately, Victor could be gearing up for some character growth in the coming weeks.
Let’s discuss three ways Y&R might shake up Victor’s world and make him see that changes are necessary.
1) Almost losing Nikki changes Victor’s heart
It’s one thing to trade barbs with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) when Victor runs into him around town.
It’s quite another to threaten Jack’s family business and leave the Abbotts fearing their legacy is about to fall apart.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has had enough and is threatening to leave Victor over this AI program mess.
Victor told Nikki to get out in the December 19 episode, but this surely isn’t the end of their epic romance.
Nikki and Victor are soulmates, so they’re going to work this out eventually.
Almost losing Nikki will affect Victor deeply and could play a big role in his change of heart.
2) Newman Media shocker hits hard
There may also be a Newman Media shocker brewing that hits hard for Victor.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) definitely seems poised to leave Newman Media behind and might take Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with her if she can get him on board.
If both Adam and Chelsea announce they’re leaving the company, Victor may see that his actions have consequences.
Between that and this situation with Nikki, it could make Victor see that he’s gone too far.
Even if Adam stays, he’s not going to be happy about Victor driving Chelsea out of Newman Media.
Adam could lash out at Victor over Chelsea’s departure and still play a role in his dad’s upcoming lesson.
3) Matt’s attack on the Newmans reminds Victor of what’s important
We know Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) is back in Genoa City and that he plans to go after the entire Newman clan.
Victor has been so focused on going after Jack that he perhaps hasn’t focused enough on his own family’s security.
Victor may see the error of his ways once Matt becomes the Newmans’ worst nightmare all over again.
With Nikki, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and more in jeopardy, Victor may realize protecting them from a monster needs to be the priority – not this ridiculous feud with Jack.
Victor has become a real Grinch lately, but there’s still time for him to turn things around!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor has a valuable lesson in his future, so stay tuned for updates on the good news that could come out of all this.
hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) the Grinch may learn his lesson. Three wake-up calls may be on the way for Victor as 2025 winds down, so that could lead to a bit of a character transformation going into 2026.
