The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, December 17, reveals that Katie Spencer (Heather Tom) may have just faced her final straw at Forrester Creations. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) also talked about the possibility of new love for Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), so here’s how Wednesday’s B&B episode went down.

At Spencer Publications, Katie remained grateful for Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) fashion house offer, but she needed time to decide whether she was ready to walk away from Forrester Creations.

In the Forrester CEO office, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) brought some updates to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) about the amazing work the outside PR team was doing.

Brooke asked where that left Katie before Carter brought up some of the PR team’s fresh pitches.

That once again left Brooke wondering what it meant for Katie, who eventually arrived and realized she was being left out of the loop again.

Katie complained, but Ridge and Brooke had to rush off to a meeting.

In a moment alone, Katie contemplated whether it was time to leave Forrester Creations and accept the new future Bill was offering.

Afterward, Katie rejoined Bill at Spencer Publications and seemed upset over being underappreciated again.

Bill pushed Katie to tell him that she wanted this fashion house and hoped she’d break free from the Forresters.

In the Forrester design office, Steffy barked orders over the phone since someone was trying to change the terms of a deal.

Taylor arrived for a chat, so Steffy joined her on the sofa and quizzed her mom about her life after Ridge.

After a conversation about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) being Taylor’s patient, Steffy gave Taylor some encouragement in the romance department.

Steffy seemed hopeful about Taylor finding someone new soon.

At home, Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) told Deacon about paying Taylor a visit and not surrendering to her worst impulses about crashing the wedding.

Although Sheila acknowledged that maybe she was pushing boundaries, she was still proud of herself for not derailing the nuptials.

Deacon revealed his own post-wedding therapy with Taylor and reflected on how helpful she’d been in their sessions.

In the end, Sheila once again gave Taylor credit for saving her marriage to Deacon.

Sheila didn’t think Deacon had anything to hide when it came to Taylor and hugged him, but Deacon seemed pensive.

Later, Deacon thought back to Taylor’s words about how she hoped Sheila was everything he wanted and deserved.
