‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Hints at What Season 17 Brings

Sister Wives star Meri Brown threw a few hints out about what to expect when Season 17 rolls along. For starters, she is not thrilled about TLC scheduling the premiere when they did.

That was made very clear, she did so without dancing around the issue. So, right away even before the first episode, there’s a sour note coming from Meri Brown.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown Disenchanted

Meri Brown looks like a single woman these days if you follow her on social media. Gone are the pictures of the Sister Wives tribe, especially Kody Brown. She hasn’t posted anything that seems family oriented in a while other than with her daughter, Mariah Brown.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown

Last week TLC officially announced the start date of S-17. It premieres on September 11, 2022, which is a Sunday night. But the original matriarch from Sister Wives couldn’t get excited about telling people she’s excited about 9-11.

While not that many people saw it this way, Meri did. Some of her Sister Wives fans didn’t even make the connection to the horrific event on that date over 20 years ago. But she did and it bothered her.

Meri’s Best Friend No Longer in the Family

In the past, Meri called Robyn Brown her best friend many times. But lately, she’s given that label to Jenn Sullivan. This is the woman who co-hosts her Friday with Friends online show with her. Jenn also helps this entrepreneur with the B&B business — Lizzie’s Heritage Inn.

These two met 10-years-ago and today they seem inseparable. While Jenn has a husband and family, it seems finds a way to make time for Meri Brown as well.

No one has mentioned anything about living arrangements. But it sounds like Jenn and her family may live at the inn, or part-time anyway.

Recently the Sister Wives business owner said Jenn sometimes makes breakfast for the guests. Plus, Jenn offered up some funny antidotes about things the guests have said to her. So, it sounds as if she’s there a lot.

Since she calls Jenn her best friend quite often, fans want to know about Robyn. What happened there? Meri won’t talk about the show or the family due to a clause in her Sister Wives contract.

But she does offer a hint on what you can expect from her and Robyn in the upcoming season.

Sister Wives: Ex-Best Friend?

While Meri never came out to explain the switch in best friend roles, she seemed to address it in another way. During their Fridays with Friends, the two ladies chat about everything and nothing.

So, this star from the Sister Wives brought up Robyn Brown and her kids during one of the recent videos. The story started with a talk about a collection of trolls she kept. She held onto these freaky-looking doll-like creatures since the 1980s.
