slipping away. Actor Jefferson White, who plays beloved ranch hand Jimmy Hurdstrom, has revealed that he currently has no knowledge of

any plans to move ahead with the long-promised 6666 spin-off — a surprising and disappointing update for fans who expected Jimmy to be a major part of the Texas-set series.

White’s comments arrive nearly four years after 6666 was first announced in February 2021. The project, set on the historic Four Sixes Ranch in Texas — introduced in Yellowstone Season 4 — was expected to follow Jimmy’s new life after leaving the Dutton Ranch. Fans believed he and his fiancée Emily (Kathryn Kelly), who became engaged in the final season, might even co-lead the series.

“When you’ve done it for that long, you can sort of start phoning it in if you really want to, and he never did. He really very authentically cared very much.”

Costner is currently facing legal allegations unrelated to Yellowstone, which he has denied. White noted he “hasn’t heard” anything about the case beyond public reporting.
