General Hospital Tuesday, December 16 Recap: Spy Catches Tracy & Michael’s Incriminating Talk – Brennan’s Evidence Tampering

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, December 16, reveals that a spy caught Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) incriminating talk while Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) made a deal that involved evidence tampering.
Once Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) brought Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) home with good news about his sentencing, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tried to give him a hug.
Rocco wasn’t interested until Dante was ready to hug his brother, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), too.
After Rocco headed upstairs to sulk, he sent Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) a text with updates on how he got 500 hours of community service, which was better than the alternative.
Once Dante headed to the PCPD on Tuesday’s GH episode, Gio showed up in his office.
Dante acknowledged that Gio cared about Rocco, so they were both interested in reaching a compromise.
Since Gio’s interactions with Rocco had led to trouble, Dante felt more comfortable being part of their visits for now.
Gio wasn’t thrilled about having a babysitter, but he agreed to be part of a holiday gathering at Lulu’s place and go from there.
Back at Lulu’s house, she quizzed Charlotte about whether Valentin had been in touch, but Charlotte carefully dodged and insisted she hadn’t seen him since she was at Steinmauer.
Charlotte ultimately opened up to Lulu about still feeling like her home was with Valentin.
It wasn’t Lulu’s fault that she missed out on so much of Charlotte’s life and didn’t know her as well, but Charlotte didn’t think that was Valentin’s fault either.
Lulu was adamant about getting to know Charlotte better and put on a brave face during this conversation.
However, Lulu erupted into tears once she was alone and was clearly quite upset over Charlotte’s confession.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) showed up at Brennan’s office, so he admitted he was going to summon her anyway because he needed help getting Valentin back in custody.
Nina refused to do any favors for Brennan unless he made good on the one he already owed her.
Since Nina convinced Lulu to let Charlotte visit Steinmauer, she now wanted Brennan to get rid of the evidence that could convict Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Nina was also willing to notify Brennan if she heard from Valentin, but he needed more if he was going to tamper with evidence to keep a congressman’s alleged shooter out of prison.
Since Charlotte trusted Nina and might confide in her, Brennan pushed her to exploit that relationship and help with the search for Valentin.
Nina reluctantly agreed after Brennan insisted she’d get exactly what she asked for if she did her part.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) told Tracy about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stealing their family heirlooms, so Tracy summoned Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and threatened him.
Tracy made it clear that Martin could face charges after all and land in prison over Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will fraud situation.
That’s why Martin needed to know what he was told and convince Drew to give up the heirlooms.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Michael and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) glared at Drew and Willow as they sat at a nearby table.
Willow was incredibly uncomfortable, but Drew thought they should tackle the issue head-on and go over to speak with Michael.
Drew did most of the talking as he approached Michael and Josslyn’s table with Willow by his side.
Although Drew thought they should all be able to dine in peace, Michael took a jab about Willow’s clandestine visit to see the kids at the Quartermaine mansion.
Based on Drew’s expression, Michael assumed this was the first time he was hearing about it.
Drew covered by insisting Willow told him everything, but she apologized to him in private for not mentioning it and tried to explain.
After Drew assured Willow that he understood, he urged him to open up in situations like that so he could help her.
Next, Martin called Drew, who refused to surrender the heirlooms to Tracy.
Drew also pushed Martin to do something for him while he was on the Quartermaine property, which hinted that Martin was sticking around.
Tracy wound up having a private conversation with Michael later, so they talked about how they weren’t looking forward to testifying at Willow’s trial.
As an eavesdropper watched and listened, Tracy suggested Michael would be perjuring himself since she saw him parked outside Drew’s place moments before she found Drew’s wounded body.
Was Martin the spy who caught that incriminating discussion?
Back at the Metro Court Gardens, Josslyn cornered Willow and made it clear that she deserved the consequences ahead.
Drew gave Willow another pep talk in the aftermath and assured her that she’d be reunited with her children.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow will face some unexpected moments in court, so stay tuned.
