General Hospital Spoilers: Obrecht Sabotages Nathan Investigation, Can’t Risk Losing Happy Ending with Son?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may sabotage the Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) investigation if she decides she can’t risk losing this happy ending with her son.
Obrecht was over the moon when she realized Nathan had miraculously come back to her.
Since Nathan had an open casket funeral and everyone saw the fatal destruction Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) caused, Liesl never thought this day would come.
Nevertheless, GH fans know Nathan has somehow come back to Obrecht, so she’s thrilled over this opportunity to reconnect with him.
Unlike Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Liesl doesn’t blame Nathan for his fake demise and time away since he supposedly can’t remember what happened.
Of course, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is determined to figure out the whole story and how Nathan fits in all the Faison drama.
Likewise, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is hoping to nail down information on Faison’s final project and who took over his work.
The closer Anna and Brennan get to the truth, the more concerned Obrecht may become.
Liesl might worry that whatever answers Brennan and Anna come up with could ruin the happy ending she’s found with Nathan.
Despite Obrecht’s anger toward Britt, Nathan advised her to focus on what’s important.
The fact that Liesl has both Nathan and Britt back is something that seemed totally impossible not too long ago.
With Nathan’s help, Obrecht may continue to soften toward Britt and become more willing to give her another chance.
We’ll also see Liesl strengthen her connection with Nathan and just enjoy having her beloved son there in the flesh.
Obrecht is already getting used to having Nathan around again and wouldn’t trade that for the world.
If Liesl feels like Brennan and Anna’s digging could burst that bubble, she might take steps to sabotage their efforts.
Perhaps Obrecht will decide she doesn’t want or need the rest of the story as long as Nathan’s there by her side.
Liesl might bury her head in the sand when it comes to any Faison-related warnings and just concentrate on Nathan’s comeback.
