Annika Noelle’s Wedding
On October 5, it was the Hunter’s Moon. It was one of the SuperMoons of the year, and was very large and close to the Earth.
In many places, it appears as various shades of orange. A special day and night, which is likely what led Annika and John to get married on that special day.
Intimate Autumnal Ceremony
Annika and John tied the knot at Malibu Lake, at a place called The Lodge. It is surrounded by more than 5,000 acres of protected woodland.
When the couple first started touring venues, they knew instantly that The Lodge was the place for the wedding.
Called an “intimate autumnal” wedding, the ceremony blended Annika and John’s love for California with fall in New England.
Annika also mentioned that the wedding had “dark whimsy and wildness” it it.
Surrounded By Nature
Annika and John are both 38 years old. Noelle told the magazine,,
“We wanted it to feel like we were surrounded by nature, almost like the flower arrangements were growing from the ground and everything was lit either from the full moon or by candlelight.”
Magical Muppet
Noelle joked that the ceremony made her feel a bit like “Gonzo being shot out of a cannon.”
Both seem to have a great sense of humor during the interview, and the ceremony sounds magical!
In addition to being out in the wilderness, Noelle explained why they had the guests go totally unplugged.
“This weekend wasn’t so much about us, but creating a moment of escapism for our loved ones to feel enveloped by love, joy and celebration.”
The wedding wasn’t just about Annika and John’s love, though.
The couple made sure that the guests got on the stage themselves. Some recited poetry while others did other acts. Amedori also added,
“We paid our respects to their elders and connection to the land.”
The couple exchanged customized wedding bands with a celestial theme. They also honored their heritage with a Celtic handfasting ceremony.
A huge congratulations go out to Annika and John! We wish you a lifetime of happiness, joy, and peace. The wedding sounds like it was very magical!
