General Hospital Friday, December 12 Recap: Willow Busted On Traffic Cam, Trial For Shooting Drew Moves Forward
General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, December 12, reveals that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial moved forward after a huge lie, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stood by his wife and believed in her innocence.
At Crimson, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) ripped into Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) for stripping down in her office, but she ultimately agreed not to go to HR as long as it didn’t happen again.
After Michael left, Nina barked orders at Jacinda and warned her that Michael would eventually throw her away.
That’s why Nina played herself up as someone Jacinda should rely on instead if she really wanted a future beyond being an escort.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Willow begged Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to let her see the kids since she was convinced the charges against her were being dropped.
Chase was glad to hear about the latest positive case developments, but he didn’t want Willow doing anything that would hurt her chances at the upcoming visitation hearing.
Moments later, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) popped up and pushed Willow to get out of there.
After Brook Lynn slammed Willow for the situation she’d been putting Chase in, Willow agreed to leave and got Chase’s promise that they’d stay tight-lipped about this mansion visit.
However, Michael walked in on Chase and Brook Lynn discussing the matter after Willow was gone.
Although Michael was relieved Willow didn’t actually see the children, it still showed a pattern of behavior.
Michael wanted Brook Lynn and Chase to sign statements about what happened for the judge, but Chase insisted it wasn’t happening.
Brook Lynn did her best to shut down the fight that erupted as she pushed for peace.
At the police station, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) watched the traffic cam footage that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had found, which showed Willow in her car near Drew’s place.
Turner decided this was compelling evidence and that Willow’s trial would move forward.
The charges against Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) would be dropped, but Justine suggested they could always go after him again later.
As for Nathan, he summoned Nina and filled her in on all the latest Willow deception drama.
In lockup, Curtis insisted he’d take Drew down with him if he went down.
Drew doubted Curtis would expose anything related to the blackmail because he wanted to protect Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), but Curtis played it like he didn’t care now that they were divorcing.
Drew eventually suggested he could pretend to remember who shot him if Curtis actually went on trial.
ADA Turner eventually interrupted to let Curtis and Drew know about the latest legal shakeups.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, she discussed Willow’s case with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) before ADA Justine Turner called about the new evidence.
Turner was obligated to disclose the proof and let Alexis know it would be in her inbox shortly.
Alexis learned the trial was moving forward and that new charges could be added now that Willow had perjured herself.
Willow assumed she’d get positive updates when she returned, but Alexis ripped into her for lying to the cops and her attorney instead.
After Willow found out about the traffic cam footage that disproved her statement, Drew rushed through the door.
Willow assured Drew that although she did drive by his place, she wasn’t the one who shot him.
Drew insisted that he believed Willow, but Alexis was concerned since Willow just made it a whole lot harder for her to convince a jury.
At GH, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) invited Portia to spend the next few days at his cabin since she needed to take it easy on bed rest.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) showed up and spoke with Portia alone, which gave her a chance to admit she knew about her mom’s pregnancy news.
Portia made it clear that it didn’t change anything when it came to her plan to divorce Curtis.
After Curtis showed up to check on Portia following her scare, he urged her to come home for her bed rest.
Trina loved that idea and wanted to take care of Portia, so Isaiah nodded from the doorway and got Portia to accept the new offer.
When Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) came home to her room above Bobbie’s, she found Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) examining her medication.
Britt lashed out, but Jason wanted to get someone to reverse engineer the meds so that she’d be free.
Jason knew Britt’s work at the Five Poppies Resort must’ve granted her access to this medication, so he assumed she was still in over her head now.
After Jason made a powerful speech and pushed Britt to let him help her, she rushed forward and planted a hot kiss.
Britt ultimately pulled back and said “not a chance,” so she clearly wasn’t willing to take the risk.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason and Britt’s path to a romance will remain messy, so stay tuned!
