That’s because a lot of people couldn’t help but notice that Michelle looks a lot like Kelly! In fact, it was heavily speculated back in the day that Steve and Kelly had an off-screen romance, but that they also managed to keep it under the radar.
The rumors, of course, were never confirmed or denied by Steve Burton or Kelly Monaco for that matter. Either way, it looks like Steve has moved on in his life and that he’s never been happier than he has been this past year with his new wife.
Michelle shared a video of her and Steve together from the past year and she captioned it with, “In your 40s, you’ll connect with a special man that lives across the country. It’s important that you go down the long-distance road together.”
Of course, the internet clearly had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “She looks a lot like Kelly Monaco. Interesting. We like to keep things tied to what’s happening onscreen in the show, but in the spirit of the holidays this is lovely. Cheers Steve!”
Steve Burton Is Totally In Love
Another General Hospital fan wrote, “I love seeing these fun and loving videos of the casts. Sometimes I think people forget the characters they play are just characters. So it’s nice to see them be humanized.”
