General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) could be headed for a near-death experience. Will an almost fatal twist be what softens Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) after the truth about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) blows up?

At the moment, Carly understands that Brennan sometimes has to keep secrets because of his job.

That’s not a big deal to Carly, but it’s only because she doesn’t know Brennan’s hiding things about her own daughter.

Carly would flip out in a big way if she knew Brennan recruited Josslyn to the WSB and put her in harm’s way.

Without Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) help in Croatia, Josslyn probably wouldn’t have survived that mission.

In other words, Brennan could’ve been the reason Carly had to bury another child.

After losing Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), Carly isn’t sure she could cope with a second loss like that.

Since Josslyn remains tangled up in risky WSB drama, the danger isn’t going away.

There’ll be plenty of other incidents where Josslyn’s forced to put her life on the line, so Carly will freak when she inevitably gets updates on all this.

Carly seems poised to dump Brennan over his deception, but could there be a way to salvage this relationship?

We know Brennan is on the verge of becoming a revenge target, so that could affect Carly’s feelings toward him.

GH spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will make a break for it after forming a surprising alliance.

It sounds like Valentin will somehow score his freedom from Steinmauer, so that’ll put him on a collision course with Brennan.

Valentin hasn’t forgotten about his quest for payback when it comes to Brennan, so you can bet that big trouble’s brewing.

Brennan could end up in a fight for his life by the time Valentin’s through with him.

It’s easy to imagine Carly discovering Josslyn’s WSB status and unleashing her wrath on Brennan just before his near-death experience.

Once Brennan is stuck in a hospital bed struggling to survive, Carly might get a reminder of just how much he means to her.

That could help Carly at least consider forgiving Brennan if she almost loses him and has to rethink where things stand between them.

Bottom line, General Hospital spoilers say Carly has some disturbing news ahead of her when it comes to Josslyn, but Brennan’s revenge target status could be a factor in the story, too.
