The Young and the Restless Monday, December 8 Update: Los Angeles Story Ends – Sienna Rejects Victor’s Bribe
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 8, reveals that the Los Angeles story will end after Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) rejects Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) bribe and considers Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) offer.
At the hotel, Noah and Sienna will give Victor, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) updates on what happened with Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth).
When Sienna learns Victor took Matt’s club away from him and delivered his financial ruin, she’ll be concerned about what this means for her.
Noah will push Sienna to come to Genoa City and will promise to protect her since Matt’s still out there.
Despite Nick and Sharon’s reservations about Sienna, Noah will insist he trusts her and won’t be willing to abandon her.
Victor will speak with Sienna alone and offer her “compensation,” but she’ll assume it’s a bribe to stay away from Noah.
Once Victor basically acknowledges that Sienna is right, she’ll insist she won’t be intimidated or bought.
Instead, Sienna will leave it up to Noah to decide whether he wants her in his life.
As for the nightclub, Victor will also mention that it now belongs to Noah.
Once the Newman jet is ready to take the gang back to Genoa City, Noah will turn to Sienna and question if she’s made a decision about going with them.
At The Shadow Room, Matt will practically be shaking with fury as he makes frantic phone calls and gulps down booze.
After Matt shouts about Victor being an SOB, Detective Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) will finally arrive with news on what went down with Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen).
Since Detective Burrow got his hands on Annie’s gun, she’ll explain that she ran while she still had the chance.
Annie will expect that the cops are going to be looking for them, so she’ll push Matt to vanish.
Matt will be frustrated over his lack of finances hindering that plan.
In the end, Matt will resolve to get some Newman leverage in an unexpected way and get back what Victor stole from him.
In Genoa City, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will have a tense conversation with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) before he makes his way to the jazz lounge.
That’s where Cane will find Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who’ll be in the middle of a discussion about the looming launch party chaos, Phyllis’ Jabot takeover and her game with Cane.
Phyllis will play innocent and act like she’s been defending Cane to Adam, so Adam will back her up.
Cane won’t buy it and will privately push Phyllis to just tell him the truth about stealing the AI program.
When Phyllis still doesn’t take her chance to come clean, Cane will insist she blew it and will vow to sabotage her Jabot takeover.
In fact, Cane will decide to ruin Phyllis’ chances for gainful employment in GC and the rest of the world, too.
During Adam’s awkward encounter with Jack and Diane, Jack will urge him to pass along a message to Victor when he returns home.
“Better luck next time,” Jack will declare confidently.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will hold out hope that he can stay a few moves ahead of Victor, so don’t miss what’s in store.
