The Bold and the Beautiful Thursday, October 2 Recap: Carter Ends Hope Engagement and Runs to Daphne
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, October 2, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) ended his engagement to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and ran to Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) at open mic night.
At Il Giardino, Daphne was surprised over how crowded the place was and learned from the bartender that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was bringing open mic night back.
After Daphne texted Carter an invitation, she eventually took the stage to sing a song.
At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s B&B episode, Hope pumped the brakes on Carter’s idea to marry right away and suggested they needed more time to plan.
After Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) texted a pic of himself with Beth Spencer (Jordyn Gracie) in their daddy-daughter dance attire, Hope started hinting about Beth wanting her to be there.
It slowly dawned on Carter that Hope should be with her family in more ways than one.
Carter realized Hope should go make memories and give Beth her parents’ reunion since that’s what was in Hope’s heart, too.
Once Carter cried and removed Hope’s engagement ring, he told her goodbye and found himself at Il Giardino soon after.
Carter was visibly distraught over his split from Hope, but he quickly became intrigued over Daphne’s open mic night performance.
After Daphne joined Carter at his table, he told her that she was right about everything and called himself a loser in love.
Daphne put her hand on Carter’s and responded with an “Are you?”
In the Forrester showroom, Brooke was grateful to Ridge for reinstating Hope’s fashion line and admitted her daughter was feeling pulled back toward Liam.
That news annoyed Ridge before Katie Logan (Heather Tom) showed up with shocking updates on Luna being alive.
At Brooke’s house, Liam and Beth kicked off their dance at sunset as Beth held out hope that her mom would make it.
Hope indeed did and joined Liam in dancing with Beth in the living room.
Liam eventually noticed Hope’s engagement ring was gone, so he looked both relieved and pleased to still have a chance with her.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Liam can figure out their future now that her relationship with Carter is over, so stay tuned!
