While Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has no idea her fiancé is lying to her every which way in Emmerdale, she’s faced with a completely separate and heart-wrenching dilemma.

Kim Tate’s (Claire King) protégé wants to have her absolute perfect day, especially after the car crash that was her wedding to Nicky.

She has poured her heart and soul into prep for her big day – even ending up hospitalised after starving herself into a coma for the sake of fitting into a dress.

While Vinny has been masking his pain of questioning his sexuality, Gabby has ploughed on with her wedding planning.

But she’s about to hit an enormous snag when she gets the worst possible news. Gabby is absolutely floored to learn that two of the most important women in her life can’t be bothered to come – her own mum Bernice (Samantha Giles), and surrogate mum Kim.

With neither of the matriarchs in attendance, Gabby will have no one to walk her down the aisle.
