Nicole Sherbiny has finally made a friend in Egypt, much to the displeasure of her husband, Mahmoud El Sherbiny. Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé viewers rushed to social media to voice their support of her new friendship.

In an effort to make Egypt feel more like home to her, Nicole decides that she needs to develop some friendships.
She signs up for an all-female meditation class and quickly forms a connection with the magnetic instructor, Nouran. After the class, she confides about some of her grievances with Mahmoud Sherbiny.

She helps to validate Nicole’s worries and tells her that this is typically how Egyptian men behave. She also helped to assure her that there are fewer conservative areas of Cairo that she’d enjoy.
The Other Way fans took to Twitter to voice their admiration for her as a strong woman and positive influence.

The 90 Day Fiancé pair’s segment really heats up once they go to a cafe to meet up with Nouran. Immediately, she finds it controlling that he needs to meet her in order to approve of their friendship.
The tension mounts when he declares that he would not approve of his wife attending classes if they were attended by men and women.

Mahmoud’s reasoning for this is that he doesn’t want men to look at her body while she’s stretching. She became upset by this statement and said, “Because men are looking and staring and fantasizing, then women should accommodate that?”.
The pair continued to argue about their differing interpretations of the Quran. Despite the tense discussion, Nicole Sherbiny seemed pleased that he was able to engage in this conversation without storming off.

The heated argument was a huge source of entertainment for TLC viewers this week. The Other Way fans greatly enjoyed this segment and took to Twitter to praise her for voicing her beliefs. Many liked getting to see his views be challenged by someone else too.

The cafe rendezvous ends, and Nicole Sherbiny is glad that her husband met her friend. he remained civil in front of his wife, but during a solo confessional he said he does not trust his wife’s new friend.
And he thinks she’ll be trouble for their already fragile relationship. Will she be able to continue her friendship? Fans eagerly await the next installment of The Other Way to find out.
