The Young and the Restless Week of December 1: Matt’s Big Twist – Cane’s Life-Changing Decision – Kyle’s New Hope

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 1-5 reveal that Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) will face a big twist while Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) deals with a life-changing decision. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also have some new hope, so let’s talk about what that’ll mean for his future.
For starters, Kyle will have a chance to mull over the kiss Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) planted on him at Thanksgiving.
It’ll no doubt leave Kyle feeling like he still has a chance with Claire, so he may vow not to blow it.
Of course, Kyle will have to proceed with caution since Claire isn’t ready for any major commitments.
Claire also doesn’t respond well to pressure or grand gestures, so Kyle may have a tough time navigating the next chapter of this storyline.
As for Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), will he really give up on his own opportunity to win Claire over?
It’s possible Holden’s flirty charm will capture Claire’s attention again, which could lead to more conflict with Kyle.
Over with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll reach a difficult realization about her former relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Part of Audra was perhaps holding onto hope that maybe Nate would forgive her eventually, but she’ll decide that’s not going to happen.
Once Audra discovers that Nate and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have gotten even closer, she’ll believe he’s putting her in the rearview mirror and pursuing a Victoria reunion.
Audra won’t spend too much time wallowing since that’s just not the kind of person she is.
Instead, we’ll see Audra throw herself into other projects and intensify her feud with Claire soon enough.
Next, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will give Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) updates on a surprising plan that could help stop Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) Jabot attack.
Although Jack will believe his tactic is their best option, Traci and Ashley may not be so sure about that.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), on the other hand, may be all for it since he gets such a thrill out of taking risks!
As for Kyle, he’ll certainly be part of the corporate chaos to come, but his focus may mostly be on Claire if he starts fixating on that kiss and his desire for more.
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers say Cane will face a choice that could change his life.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will force Cane to pick a side, but will his decision prove shocking in the end?
A huge part of Cane’s return has been about trying to get back his relationship with Lily and repair their family.
It’s possible Cane will truly give up on that dream for a while and choose to explore whatever strange new connection this is with Phyllis.
Regardless, Phyllis will have a side quest going on since she obviously doesn’t approve of the kiss she recently witnessed between Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
That’s sure to lead to Phyllis meddling in Daniel’s love life and trying to steer him away from married Tessa.
Phyllis may warn Tessa away from Daniel as well and add to the drama of it all.
Finally, Victor will join the Los Angeles storyline and catch Matt off guard with his arrival.
Matt will be thrown for a loop when the great Victor Newman himself arrives at The Shadow Room and makes it clear that he’s Matt’s worst nightmare.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will toss threats around as he works to help Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with the Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) crisis, but Matt still has plenty of bad news brewing!
