General Hospital Wednesday, November 19 Recap: Sidwell Shoots Dalton, Laura Wins Election, Josslyn’s Lab Scoop

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, November 19, reveals that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) shot Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) after Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) got the scoop on a second lab. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) also won the election much to her surprise, so let’s talk about how Wednesday’s GH action played out.
At the Brown Dog Bar, S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) summoned Josslyn so she could work her magic on Dalton, who was drunk after multiple drinks.
Josslyn cozied up to Dalton in the seat next to him and played up the importance of his research.
Dalton vented about the bad day he’d had, so Josslyn acted sympathetic and eventually got him to admit he had a second lab where animals were indeed tested.
Josslyn learned that the lab wasn’t too far away and got Dalton on board with leaving together when Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) entered with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Gio pulled Josslyn away from her Dalton conversation under the guise of sharing some news, but she insisted she didn’t need a rescue.
Emma wound up lashing out over Josslyn hanging around Dalton after all her warnings.
When Dalton stepped forward, Emma put him on full blast over the situation with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and threw a drink on him.
Vaughn eventually used his WSB badge to break up the conflict and ordered Dalton to come to the station the following afternoon.
As for Josslyn, she made Gio and Emma think Vaughn lied to her about his WSB status.
Josslyn also confessed that she’d learned Dalton had a second lab and confirmed Emma had been right about the animal testing.
Josslyn met up with Vaughn outside soon after, so that led to a passionate kiss between them.
At Wyndemere, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) complained about waking up at the Five Poppies following her faked death and being forced to work on the project.
Sidwell reminded Britt that she needed her medication doses to handle her Huntington’s disease and pointed out Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) couldn’t give her those.
If Jason found out Britt was collaborating with Sidwell on this operation, Sidwell assumed Jason wouldn’t be pleased.
However, Sidwell agreed with Britt about problematic Dalton.
Once Dalton showed up ranting about the WSB investigating, Sidwell pulled out a gun to get rid of the liability.
Sidwell shot Dalton, who fell lifeless to the floor as Britt stood there looking shocked.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, she was still rather pessimistic about the election outcome during a conversation with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came in and assumed Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) was going to win, so he wanted Laura to endorse Ezra in her concession speech.
Laura tried to appeal to the man Drew used to be before Jordan revealed that the mayoral race had been called in Laura’s favor.
Although Laura was pleasantly surprised over her victory, Drew was taken aback over Ezra’s loss.
At the PCPD, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) got a nervous Jason on board with her plan to use Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to help Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
After talking with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), Alexis felt confident that Charlotte and Danny would make good witnesses against Dalton.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) worried all three teens could end up in a juvenile detention center, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Alexis worked to convince them this was the right strategy.
In the interrogation room, Charlotte convinced Danny that they needed to embellish their statement the next time around to make sure Dalton went down.
Danny and Charlotte secretly agreed to sell the story that Dalton had hit Rocco.
Back with Lulu, she talked to Nathan about being scared of losing both her kids.
However, Charlotte was adamant about stepping up to help Rocco out of his jam.
When asked about the key fob, Danny admitted to Nathan, Jason and Lulu that it had come from Britt’s purse.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will have some questions for Britt following that info, so stay tuned for updates on their upcoming confrontation.
