Sister Wives star Christine Brown rolled out her first TLC show and spiced it up with a dab of reminiscing. As Cooking with Just Christine played on the screen she gabbed as she tossed together a cake. As she stood in her new kitchen this brought back memories for her that she shared with those who tuned in.

It’s likely many tuned in with hopes of getting the scoop on what’s going on in Christine Brown’s life today. While she didn’t share much about her personal life, her surroundings offered clues of a change.

Plus, Christine Brown did get a little nostalgic while making her famous carrot cake. She shared some Sister Wives thoughts of days gone by.

As the main caregiver to all the Brown family kids, Christine spent a lot of time around the kitchen feeding them all. It seems her cooking show demonstration caused some of those memories to come out.

So, she mentioned all the time she spent in her family’s kitchen when the kids were young. But the story was very generic — like she’d cook, and they’d eat.

What does Christine Brown’s Kitchen Reveal about Her?

There’s a notable comparison between Christine’s new kitchen today to her old ones in the series. Some fans said the act of organizing didn’t seem to be this Sister Wives strong point in the past.

As you can see from her Flagstaff kitchen in the photos below, things looked tossed in her cabinets. Her kitchen counters held everything from laundry to toys in her old homes. But this new kitchen appears organized.

This is a woman who wouldn’t own a toaster when she read somewhere that they kill more people than sharks. Instead, she’d line up bread on a cookie sheet and put them under the oven broiler. She would more often than not end up with smoke billowing out of her oven from burnt toast.

Today her countertop holds at least three mixing tools that the camera picks up. But there’s no toaster insight. Although back in Flagstaff she did finally get a toaster.

Still, it’s nowhere in sight today. But as you can see below, Christine Brown’s kitchen has more mixers than most. Plus, her organization skills look improved from earlier Sister Wives seasons.
