‘Sister Wives’: Janelle Rides on Coattails of Fame as a Trade-Off?
Sister Wives star Janelle Brown flew away on a recent trip that the perks her fame awarded her. But she’s paid a price for that fame and some might find this very sad.
Recently, one of the 18 Sister Wives kids offered up some personal info on Janelle. But he wasn’t sure how this would sit with some fans.
Sister Wives: Built-in Customer Base for Janelle Brown?
This week Janelle Brown enjoys an international trip. She said the company of her latest product promotion footed the bill for this. It sounds as if she was in a sales goal contest and she won. So this week she posts photos from Lisbon, Portugal.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Janelle was able to do so well with sales. Janelle has something that the average person doing a product promotion doesn’t have.
She has a built-in Sister Wives fanbase made up of hundreds of thousands who follow her on social media. So, that has to give her an upper hand.
Janelle took her younger sister with her as a traveling companion on this trip. But it’s rather sad that she didn’t take her shared husband. But with the latest buzz online, chances are Kody Brown wouldn’t go if she had asked him.
A Shift in Marriage Dynamics
Kody admitted that he may love Janelle, but he’s not in love with her. He has a beautiful friendship with his second Sister Wives bride. But it seems to stop at that.
After Kody said this during the last season, Janelle Brown seemed to take stock of her life. But she didn’t leave Kody. According to Christine Brown’s son, Paedon Brown, Janelle chose to stay.

<p>Janelle is unlike Christine Brown, who left when the romantic part of her marriage was gone. Once Kody said he won’t be sharing intimate moments with her again, this sealed the deal for Christine. She not only left him but the <em>Sister Wives’</em> family as well.</p>
<p>So, it seems while Kody may still love all the mothers of his kids, he is in love with only one wife — Robyn Brown. Paedon also confirmed this during a recent interview.</p>
<p>For whatever reason Janelle has for remaining with Kody as a wife, she’s not shared it. But she does gain from her fame as part of the <em>Sister Wives</em> family.</p>
<p>The same thing goes for Meri Brown. She hasn’t had an intimate relationship with their shared husband in a decade. But she too stays and the fame she’s gained gives her access to things she might not have without it.</p>
<p>So, it seems that the <em>Sister Wives</em> series allows both these women to be top sellers at their job. Meri sells items from a line of clothes and she’s one of their top sales representatives. Meri also goes on trips, especially cruises, due to her high sales numbers.</p>
<p>So did Meri and Janelle decide to stay and not jeopardize the fame they built up from the TLC show? Kody’s love for his wives has changed.</p>
<p>It sounds as if the passion and romance part belongs to Robyn Brown today. But is this fame from the TLC show and the doors it opened enough for the two wives who remain in a possible loveless marriage?</p>
<p>But it seems as if they have advantages due to fame as a replacement. Yet for two of Kody’s wives, they seem okay with only that.</p>
