The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Lucas Adams’ first airdate has been revealed, so we now have a good idea of when to expect Noah Newman’s coma awakening.
Y&R fans know Noah was seriously injured in a crash after his car went into a ravine in the canyon.
Although that crash was initially believed to be an accident, the witness’ report tells a different story.
It looks like somebody intentionally forced Noah off the road and sped off based on what that witness told Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen).
Noah is in an induced coma due to brain swelling, but he’s obviously going to pull through this nightmare.
Lucas Adams is all set to play a Noah Newman recast – and fans won’t have to wait much longer on his debut.
According to TV Guide, Adams will make his first appearance as Noah on Tuesday, November 4.
Of course, Noah should be brought out of his coma around that time, too.
At the moment, Noah is just a faceless figure in a hospital bed.
With all those bandages covering Noah’s head, there’s no point in having Adams step into the role just yet.
A stand-in will continue to serve as injured Noah until Adams’ first episode finally arrives.
There’s no confirmation so far on whether Noah’s brain might get a bit scrambled.
Some memory loss is certainly possible in a situation like this, especially on soaps since amnesia storylines are so common.
Regardless, you can bet that Noah will face questions when he awakens about why he was driving in the canyon and who might’ve wanted to wipe him out.
It’ll be interesting to see how much Noah can remember once he opens his eyes and fills Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as well as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with relief.
Noah’s mystery will end up being connected to Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and Roger Howarth’s character, who may turn out to be the shady guy named Mitch who’s already been mentioned as her partner for life.
