Katie still has plenty of love left for Bill thanks to their history and their mutual devotion to Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).
Bill, Katie and Will are a family, so nothing is ever going to change that.
However, Katie has been burned by Bill romantically in the past.
Since Katie doesn’t want to end up heartbroken again, it’s easy to see why she’s wary of giving her relationship with Bill another try.

Bill and Katie are presenting a united front when it comes to supporting Will through this nightmare, so that’s strengthening their bond.
Katie also seems emotionally affected by Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) own reunion.
Hope and Liam are finally accepting that they’re meant to be together, so maybe the same is true for Katie and Bill.
In B&B’s November 5 episode, it felt significant when Bill reached for Katie’s hand.
Katie certainly didn’t seem to mind the handholding, so she may be starting to come around on the idea of pursuing something with Bill once more.
Since Katie and Bill plan to help out with Will’s baby when the time comes, that’s another great reason for them to embrace a reunion and live under the same roof.
