‘Sister Wives’: Christine Brown Skinnier but is it from Dumping Kody — or Her MLM Product?

Sister Wives ex-wife Christine Brown looks skinnier but is it because she cut Kody Brown out of her life — or is it because of the pink drink she and Janelle Brown are shilling? Here’s the skinny on her diet product.

Photos do not lie about Christine Brown. She’s dropped a significant amount of weight over the years. And fans really took note of it since she ended her marriage to her longtime spiritual husband, Kody Brown.

But is the dropped weight about her split or the “pink drink” she credits? The Sister Wives star, along with Janelle Brown and Maddie Brown Brush, actively promotes a diet drink and supplements.

Yet her weight seems to have stabilized post-split. No doubt, Christine Brown looks great lately. But let’s consider what else is going on in her life besides guzzling a supplement-based drink. The larger thing is her “divorce”.

With no legal marriage in her life, Christine admitted on the Sister Wives One-on-One Tell-All that she chose a date that she considered herself divorced. And she publicly announced the end of her spiritual marriage in November of 2021.

Since then, she moved to Utah with her daughter Truely Brown. And a year later, Christine began exclusively dating her boyfriend, David Woolley. So, what do we credit with her weight loss — the split, the supplement, or something else?

If you’ve not been through a divorce, it’s often heartbreaking. And the months (or years) leading up to a split can be soul-crushing, depending on what messed up your marriage.

Recall on the last two seasons of Sister Wives, the pain in Christine Brown’s voice when she talked about years of marital neglect. She labeled herself a “basement wife” and said she’d been sidelined by Kody for years. That included no physical intimacy.

So, could it be that breaking out of this cycle is what inspired her weight loss? The New York Times wrote about the “divorce diet”. Relationship expert Rachel Sussman, author of The Breakup Bible, said about 70% of people going through divorce or breakup get “extremely thin.”

And Sussman said that even after making it through the pain, about 50% of those people want to keep their trimmer figures. Meanwhile, one Manhattan divorce lawyer told The Times that 80% of his clients drop weight, some through exercise and others because of depression and shunning food.

For many seasons of Sister Wives, Christine Brown carried an unhealthy amount of weight. But it looks like that once she decided to leave Kody, she shed pounds as well as a husband. Is this the result of the “divorce diet” or the supplements she shills?

Sister Wives Ex Christine Pushes Multi-Level Marketing Drink

If you haven’t noticed, Christine isn’t the only one of Kody’s ex-spouses engaged in multi-level marketing (MLM) programs. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) warns that some MLMs that are pyramid schemes.

They define an MLM as a business involving “selling products to family and friends and recruiting other people to do the same.” You recruit people who also sell the products and you earn a commission based on their sales too. They’re called your “downline”.
