On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Jenny Slatten can’t defend her messy kitchen when her in-laws move in to check out her domestic skills. Steven Johnston continues to prove he doesn’t practice what he preaches. Ariela Weinberg is back in New Jersey and her family has plenty to say. Armando Rubio wants to expand his family with Kenny Niedermeier. 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way – Jenny Slatten Is a Little Messy

Jenny Slatten is on a ride of broken promises that she can’t seem to get off. She grabs some grub with her Indian BFF, a sister of one of Sumit Singh‘s pals. And explains that Sumit’s parents want to move in to give her a test drive as their daughter-in-law. She thinks it’s weird, but her friend doesn’t. Her advice: “you are in India now honey, so do as we say and as we do”. Jenny agrees to give it a go.

The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple rent some furniture for an in-law suite at their place. Jenny washes some dishes and dresses up in her best and brightest Indian garb from Forever 62. Sumit’s parents arrive and are a little surprised by the rings on the coffee table. A tour of the kitchen reveals that Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh live like most college students. With dishes and food stacked up on the counter and dead flies swept neatly underneath.

Mother Sumit is of course upset by this squalor and schools Jenny on the use of a broom and garbage can. Sumit sports a new hairdo and beams. Sumit is glad mom is there to show Jenny how to be a better housekeeper. Jenny isn’t so thrilled with them barking orders. She never expected to spend her retirement being kitchen shamed by someone who she knows can’t stand her. Maybe she can order a Swiffer on Amazon to make life easier.

TLC’s Alina Gets a Sign From a Rabbit

Steven Johnston tried Turkish chocolates to sweeten things up between him and Alina’s mother on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. But Alina’s mom is no dummy, and she sees right through his slippery tactics. The trio head out for some refreshments at an outdoor café. Alina’s mother chooses coffee and Alina asks Steven’s permission to taste it. Steven says no, since in the Mormon church consumption of alcohol and caffeine is taboo.

Steven dons his missionary hat while sucking down a mango-banana slushy and tries to convert Alina’s mom to the caffeine free church. She tells him that she’s good in her own church and that his theory on coffee being dangerous is pure bunk. Alina graciously points out that while Steven Johnston won’t imbibe a latte, he has no problem breaking the vows of chastity. And that the only thing that’s virginal about Steven is his slushy drink.

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Steven isn’t happy about being outed while acting self-righteous. Alina asks him to leave the table and her mom flat out tells her that she should come home. Later, the mother and daughter visit fortune telling rabbits for some advice. Alina’s rabbit picks a note telling her she’s attractive and beautiful and has won the love of a young man. Of course she thinks it’s about Steven Johnston. Her mom curses the bunny under her breath. He is so not worth giving up caffeine.

90 Day Fiance: Ariela Weinberg’s Family Weighs In

Ariela Weinberg arrives in New Jersey to the delight of her parents. Once baby Aviel Shibre is tucked neatly into his car seat, the family heads home for some catch up time. Ariela eagerly phones Biniyam Shibre to report that all is well. We see the color slightly drain from her face when Biniyam reveals he’s been “out with friends”. She blames the Jersey air for her sudden melancholy.

At a family dinner, Aviel Shibre enjoys celebrity status as he’s passed around like a hot potato on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Soon the talk turns to the future, and Ariela’s sister wants to get real. She tells her she’s been cute and done her little thing in Ethiopia, but now it’s time to quit playing and move back to New Jersey. So Aviel can start preparing for his Princeton education and all. Ariela Weinberg shrugs it off and asks for seconds and wonders what Biniyam Shibre is doing right now.

Armando Rubio Has Baby Fever

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple Armando Rubio and Kenneth Niedermeier paint daughter Hannah’s nails. She tips them both with some play money and it’s adorable. Armando and Kenny are tossing around the idea of adopting a child. Kenny seems a little uncomfortable and admits that most people pushing 60 aren’t having babies. But Armando thinks it would be great to expand their family.

Armando Rubio even suggests IVF and a surrogate. So that Kenny’s bloodline could be involved. Somewhere in a Georgia living room 90 Day Fiance staple Angela Deem cries out, “I can tote it, just find me a damn egg”. Later the couple visit an orphanage for kids living with HIV. While they both think this could be a great option, Armando worries about his family accepting it. And Kenneth Niedermeier reminds him that is their issue to overcome and suggests getting through the wedding first.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way – Ellie Rose Gets a Hole Drilled in Her Pocket

Ellie Rose and Victor McLean are shacking up in an apartment in San Andreas until they can rebuild in Providencia. She hasn’t even unpacked the kitchen yet before she brings up the elephant in the room. Victor’s infidelity. He says it wasn’t anything and it was quarantine yada, yada, yada. But Ellie thinks the pictures the other woman sent made it look pretty cozy. And that Victor hit her up for a motorcycle.

Victor McLean pretends this is ridiculous on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. But his chin braid grows about three inches while he denies it so he’s more than likely the Pinocchio of Providencia at this point. Later they hit up a home improvement store and Ellie Rose is miffed at the expense of a drill which she says she could get back home at Lowe’s for a fraction of the price. Victor doesn’t want to dicker for a deal on a drill but admits he’s not paying for anything.

Corey Rathgeber’s Sweet Nothings Fall on Deaf Ears

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Evelin Villegas‘ ego has been dragged below sea level after Corey Rathgeber spilled the details on his Peruvian affair. She refers to Corey’s fling as “that thing”. He is outside moping around and picking flowers as he vows to fight for the marriage. Even the dog can’t be bothered to hear his self-pitying drivel. Choosing instead to take a nice long nap while Corey frets and pens love letters to Evelin.

Corey Rathgeber slides a fresh letter under the door which Evelin Villegas retrieves with a smirk. It’s not the first and it certainly won’t be the last. She laughs it off and says she isn’t buying it. He knocks and she agrees to come out and take the flowers. But suggests he doesn’t make this divorce hard or she will involve the police. Sorry Evelin, but cheesy desperation isn’t a crime. Corey sulks off to shack up with Raul and Evelin disappears inside with the flowers. ‘Till next time!
