’90 Day Fiance’: Libby’s Dad Chuck Pokes Fun at Charlie & Andrei’s Backyard Brawl
90 Day Fiance father Chuck Potthast, dad of Elizabeth Potthast, puts up with a lot from his kids but gave back a little sass this week. No doubt you watched or heard fellow fans talking about the brawl at the get together at Chuck’s house. This weekend, papa Potthast cracked on the two who made a scene in front of family.
90 Day Fiance Fans Worried about Chuck Potthast Crying after Fight
On one of the last regular season episodes of Happily Ever After on TLC, Charlie Potthast and Andrei Castravet decided to go out in a big way. This run with Libby and her family on the 90 Day Fiance spinoff has been a series of one spat after another.
The crux of it always seems to be Chuck’s kids jockeying for position in his business. With Andrei now jumping into real estate, everyone’s up in arms. The table was already on edge when Charlie strutted in looking ready to pounce on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After.

Then, Andrei told Charlie to sit and those were fighting words apparently. The two men tried furiously to unshirt each other and production got involved. Meanwhile, it was too much for Chuck Potthast, who broke out in tears after trying to break up the fight.
Chuck bawled loudly and was left alone with his tears. That’s what set off 90 Day Fiance fans. Viewers were stunned that none of Chuck Potthast’s children came over to check on their dad who just implied that they might stress him into a heart attack.

In a recent video, a much calmer Chuck Potthast referred to the fight and laughed it off. Of course, that 90 Day Fiance scene filmed quite a while ago. So, Chuck’s had more than enough time to calm down by now. Although it’s doubtful Charlie is now Andrei’s BFF or anything.

90 Day Fiance papa Chuck Potthast recorded the short video out by his pool. He’s sitting in “the same spot I had for barbecue fight night”. When someone later questioned his description of the incident, Chuck said that’s what the family calls it.
Next, Chuck said he enjoys sitting out there. But he added that he doesn’t like being out on his back deck watching “two knuckleheads fight at my barbecue”. 90 Day Fiance fans piled on love for Chuck Potthast saying they love him, he’s a great dad, and their favorite on the TLC show.
Chuck Potthast in Path of Tropical Storm Fred – Is it Worse than 90 Day Fiance Drama?
As Chuck talked about the backyard BBQ brawl, he also talked about the storm you could hear in the background. Chuck Potthast paused as there was a “big thunderbolt” and asked if viewers heard it.

Chuck also said the weather there was “about to get ugly”. But he said he liked to sit outside in that kind of weather. 90 Day Fiance co-star Chuck Potthast lives in Tampa which was catching winds, rain, and other side effects from tropical storm Fred.
The good news is that Chuck said the worst was that his palm trees were blowing. And there was some lightning. He seemed to be enjoying it – unlike the storm that his children and their spouses usually bring with them. You can see the full video below.
