Jasmine Pineda recently had fans worry about her health. The 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cast member was in a video with a device hooked up to her chest.
People didn’t know what it was for, and they were afraid that there was something seriously wrong with her health. But, the TLC celeb didn’t seem too concerned for her well-being.
The 90 Day Fiance reality star addressed fans’ concerns. According to Jasmine, the device is a Holter monitor. She explained that it is used to “catch arrhythmia” in her heart. This is when there is a problem with the rate of someone’s heartbeat. The heartbeat can either be too slow, too quickly or even irregular.
Jasmine shared that her cardiologist uses this device to “diagnose the type of arrhythmia” and determine her proper treatment. But there is a reason why her cardiologist requires her to wear this device.
TLC’s Jasmine Opens up about Heart Condition
Jasmine Pineda revealed that when she was little, she would always faint. It felt like her heart was going to explode. However, she ignored it until she was an adult.
She then found herself having severe health issues and thought it was time to see a doctor. That is when she found out about her heart problems.
According to the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days castmate, she was diagnosed with a “prolapsed valve” in her heart. This meant that one of the valves isn’t able to function correctly.
This can cause irregular heartbeats, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. Most people don’t need treatment. However, in severe cases, medication or surgery is necessary.

<p>Jasmine also has “ventricular arrhythmia.” This means that her heart beats fast. Medication can help slow the heart rate down. However, some people require surgery. But, her condition doesn’t seem to be that serious. She only has to take medication to help normalize her heart rate.</p>
<p>Jasmine Pineda doesn’t need to get heart surgery yet. But, she does have to visit her cardiologist three times a year. She also has to take two types of medication.</p>
